First visit: Enjoyed the BBQ takeout special. 1lb BBQ, 1lb slaw, 2 dozen hush puppies (or buns), vinegar & sweet sauces, and cinnamon butter. Also, a side of excellent onion rings. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu, truly expecting good stuff! Recommend

This is what you would expect from a small local eatery. Good food and very friendly staff. Listening to people talk as we were there it was very common to hear that they were repeat customers. Tonight we had the BBQ family meal. The barbq sauce is good. But the vinegar seasoning they offer is fantastic. Get some hush puppies as you might not have tasted any others like this . We will be back because they have a lot more of my favorites like oysters, clams, burgers, and grilled chicken. The cole slaw is something like your grandmother would have made back in the day. It is well worth the stop to check it out. Handicap parking is right up front and more regular parking spaces in the back.

The atomosphere was friendly at Bennett’s Grill and the outside seating near the road is ok but I was disappointed with everything I tried on the menu except the French fries and deviled crab . The flounder was fishy, the shrimp overcooked, the oysters smelled weird and the clams were coated in so much batter that all I could taste was breading. The hush pieces were heavy with grease. The coleslaw was a mushy container of slop. The establishment had a lot of customers coming and going but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We just moved here this week and we’ve eaten here four days in a row. The calabash crab cake burger is sooooo good. also tried the clam strips and they were wonderful too. I’m actually bummed they’re closed on a Sunday’s as I can’t get my sandwich today lol.

We love Bennett’s! You can’t beat it for fresh Calabash seafood in a casual atmosphere. Husband loves the burgers but give me fried shrimp and oysters all day! Great coleslaw and hushpuppies too. Family friendly.

Great great great little burger joint and they have the good fries….y’all know what I’m talking about. Burger and hot dog were both slamming. 10/10 would recommend and go again. The prices are amazing too, not many places two grown me can have lunch for 30 bucks and both leave fat and happy. Great job guys, America needs more little places like yours.
