Awesome place with a great view. We got there when it was almost dark but it’s right across the street from the water. Food was very good. Service is great. Only strange thing they don’t have to go containers. They have paper bags and cardboard boats for the food. We are visiting so will have to stop and get zip lock bags or something to carry it home with us in the fridge so it doesn’t dry out. But would definitely go back when visiting again. Cheese curds were amazing!

Veg. Burger is one of the best food that I tried. The portion served is bit difficult to finish by one person (around 400+ grams of serving). Because it is coastal area one can find the best views around.

Definitely would recommend. Handbreaded halibut was perfect. Service was great. Gentleman at counter was very friendly and engaged in his job. Between taking orders, delivering and busing tables he was busy. Even with the rustic look everything was very clean including the bathroom.

The cod was fresh, big and meaty. The batter was well done and plenty crisp. Best battered fish I’ve had. The Dungeness and cheddar sandwich was delicious. Basically a whole fresh crab or two perfectly cleaned and chopped up with mild seasoning, and a few add ins for flavor and feel. Some whole meaty portions remained which were a pleasure to eat. The soda is great. Fries are excellent. People are nice and the house is comfortable and homey feeling without being dirty.

Excellent cod and fries. Order at the counter and find your own seat. There was only outdoor seating available when we went because it’s a small place with very limited indoor seating. One of the outdoor tables was in a giant pool of water. So really there were only three tables outside, not four. Excellent seafood. And they have an interesting selection of sodas to drink which were excellent and very different than the average place.

We drove 2 hours to check out the marina and find a spot to have some fish and chips. We absolutely enjoyed this spot. We grabbed our table and ordered at the counter. Menu posted on the wall or they have menus to browse at your table if you need time. Hands down must try clam chowder, beer battered halibut or regular cod with chips. They also offered a prime rib dip that looked so good but we just had our heart set on the fish and chips with the clam strips. Crab cakes also worthy! The only thing that was a mystery that took a minute to get used to were the cheese curds. Not what we normally expect but it was still tasty. Their tea was our go to but they carried a single soda brand called Stubborn in just about every variety of flavor plus a few brews on tap! We absolutely enjoyed this place! We will be back for that Prime Melt Sandwich!!

Great little touristy restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating. You order before you sit down, food will be brought to your table. I got the cod combo. It came with beer batter cod, clam strips, and fries. I added a cup of clam chowder and a black cherry soda from Stubborn. All the food was good but in need of some better seasoning. The soda was great. They do have beer on tap if you want. All in all, I recommend going. The food is good, black pepper can be added to the chowder and they do have sauces you can dip the fish, ckam strips, and fries in. I will be going back for more. Got to try the Primerib sandwich with au jus.

Bennett’s has fondly become a place we look forward to every trip we make to Westport. We always enjoy the fish and chips and clam chowder. Both full of flavor. Being British I am always in search of perfection lol. These come real close.

The halibut fish and chips were a bit over cooked and dry, but good. Their version of a fish taco is a wrap. That’s not what we wanted, especially for the prices.
There isn’t service, it is more like fast food where you order at the counter and find your seat. Tip doesn’t seem necessary.
Great location, nice restaurant atmosphere, and the food is good. I think we will order something else next time, but we will be back.
