Tonight’s meal was a warm hug. The staff was friendly and accommodating for our needs. The food was delicious and comforting.

We ordered: fries, sweet and crispy Brussels, fettuccine Alfredo, eggplant parmigiana and chocolate cake.

What I liked is that the food was hearty and delicious but it was not over the top. It was exactly what we needed. We came here after working all day and not stopping to eat anything – so we were hungry and wanting something solid and reliable… this was it.

The creaminess of the Alfredo sauce was thick and smooth. The horsey sauce was made fresh from scratch.

My daughter had attended a birthday skate party on Saturday for one of her classmates and so we decided to stay overnight in Seekonk. So we decided to have dinner prior to going out. We went to Benjamin’s (Seekonk) and I had the Chicken Marsala, my daughter had the Fettuccine Alfredo and my 4 year old great niece visiting us from GA, had her favorite chicken tenders and fries. The meals were AMAZING!!!! There was so much food that we had to get a to take some back to the hotel. My server, Ms. Janice was so friendly and professional and our host Amy whom I spoke with over the phone prior to having dinner there, was amazing! She even remembered me from our phone call. Listen, no matter where you stay in Seekonk or neighboring East Providence…..IT IS A MUST you have lunch or dinner at Benjamin’s and bring a healthy appetite…..you won’t be disappointed.
The atmosphere is truly great and inviting.

P.S. We went back for lunch the next day (Sunday) before going back on our way home . My daughter ordered the chicken Alfredo again and this time I tried the fried scallop with a baked potato and sautéed spinach.

This is the best Italian food we’ve had in New England. I wish we had found this place before we moved away.

Super cute ambiance, HUGE portions, absolutely amazing service from our server Anne, the bartender, the chef – everyone.

It’s tucked inside the Ramada Inn in Seekonk so you might never know it’s there. Give them a try.

This place was awesome!! The Scrod was cooked in a delicious homemade breading so fluffy & tender!! The strip steak was cooked to perfection & melted in your mouth! Homemade mashed potatoes, spinach & bread topped off our flawless dinner. Kudos to the chef & our warm, pleasant server. It truly felt like home. (Oh, & I just had to bring home the chocolate mousse cake… heavenly.) Thank you for a great dinner!!

Very disappointing experience at Benjamin’s in Seekonk. I went in with a gift card that was purchased when the restaurant was operating under the same name, but they refused to honor it. I was told the restaurant has gone through three different owners and that there were issues with the previous owner not paying out gift cards.
As a customer, that’s extremely frustrating. The restaurant still operates under the same name, and there is no notice on the website or posted anywhere in the restaurant letting customers know that old gift cards are no longer valid.
Customers shouldn’t be stuck with the loss when ownership changes, especially when nothing is communicated ahead of time. Just something others should be aware of before going.

We received a gift certificate to Benjamin’s this past September since we always enjoyed the food and service! After stopping in twice before, they were always closed! Tonight they were finally opened but there was only a couple at the bar! The entire restaurant was empty. After I inquired, I was told the gift certificate was no good as they were the new owners!

So much for a great spot for dinner! She was rude, the menu was bare bones with nothing I would want to eat! We’ll never go back and so I’d caution you all to find somewhere else to dine… like Chardonnay or The Grist Mill; both two Minutes away and they’re always fantastic!!!

I ate here in November with about twenty people after my uncle’s funeral service. It was a Saturday afternoon, but there was only one waiter available and no bartender. The service was ultra slow because the sole waiter had to handle the entire dinner service himself. The food was extremely mediocre – I had the chicken Parm which tasted like fast food breaded chicken with a few slices of cheese. the tiramisu was frozen solid, so I ordered another dessert that was just as bad. My Aunt’s dessert was frozen as well. Do not recommend for anything, nevermind an after funeral dinner service. Waiter did his best and was a nice enough guy. This was a failure of logistics and planning on Management’s part.

Came in for the $49 dinner for 2 on Tuesdays. And then…. OMfG the food was delish!!! We will be back on a regular day as well. Food quality to price is a great value. Had the jumbo shrimp scampi and the baked haddock… The entree’s almost missed the photo shoot

My coworkers and I visited this restaurant, and it was quite disappointing. There was hardly anyone there, yet we waited two hours to be served. When our food finally arrived, my fish and chips were burnt. After sending it back, the replacement was also burnt, so I opted for a burger instead. Unfortunately, that came back overcooked on the outside and raw in the middle. To make matters worse, the dessert was completely frozen. When I brought these issues to the manager’s attention, he mentioned they were under new management, which felt like an inadequate excuse after we spent nearly $600 as a group. I definitely won’t be returning.
