Our family of 4 had the privilege being served by the friendly front reception and our super server Ai san.
She is friendly, knowledgeable and elevated our dining experience with her professionalism.
The must trys are crab cake and jumbo bacon.
Would love to give 5 stars for our dry aged steak. I was told it was aged for almost 6 weeks but find it hard and chewy even at med rare. I’m still scratching my head, given the fact a dry aged steak is supposed to be tender.
Luckily rest of our meals, Benjamin salad, lobster tail , sides and creme brûlée were delicious.
Overall, great dining experience! Thank you Ai San and BSH for having us!
We were fortunate to have the manager, Kubota-san, serve us throughout the meal. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and spoke good English, so ordering was a breeze.
The food was absolutely delicious! My husband and I are big eaters, but the steak for two, along with two sides and an appetizer, ended up being too much for us. I would recommend skipping the sides or opting for a vegetable side to cleanse your palate.
Overall, the service was top-notch. I loved the entire experience, and a special thanks to Kubota-san for making it so memorable!
Unfortunately, the meat served to us was charred meat and tasted bitter due to the stupidity of the cook
The meat had no taste at all.
Although it was charred, it was tough and needed a very sharp knife to cut it.
It was like a piece of plastic that was difficult to chew.
No sauce was served with it.
The price was high in the sky
for what was served to us.
We wished to eat Gyudon for 1,500 yen,
which was much better than what
we paid 31,000 yen and ate a piece of charcoal.
The money you pay here is only for the prestige of the restaurant and not for the quality of the food.
Beware of wasting your money in this restaurant.
Because it is really a garbage restaurant.
I highly recommend Benjamin’s for a fine dining experience – especially dinner with wine but lunch is great value.
The lobster bisque was quite salty and the burger was shocking tough. I took a picture which shows what the beef looks like cut and the rest I leave to your imagination.
For the price I would suggest visiting other places if you want a decent Burger.
The table beside us had a fillet steak and that looked good. Service and atmosphere are good as well.
1. Waiter couldn’t clearly explain the menu, not knowing the difference 3-4 salads.
2. Caesar salad was a disappointment, few cut leaves with some parmesan and a bit of sauce.
3. Steak was served cold and there is no option to choose sides.
For this price there are many better options to go with in Tokyo. I was looking forward to this one but came out disappointed.
The dining area is great, there is a fun “spot the famous person” game to played coming down the stairs.
But I can’t give it full marks overall cuz it is pricy.
