We visited Benihana – Orlando to celebrate a birthday with a group of 15 people, and overall it was a good experience, with some areas that could improve.
The chef’s live cooking show at the table was excellent — definitely the highlight of the night. We were served by a chef from Haiti who was outstanding, very charismatic, and interacted with everyone at the table. He made the celebration feel special and kept the whole group entertained. He was also very careful and attentive with a guest who had a seafood allergy, especially considering that several people at the table ordered seafood. We really appreciated how cautious and professional he was in handling that situation.
Considering we were a large party, the seating arrangement and coordination with the two chefs were handled very well.
However, the food quality was not the best in my opinion. While everything was nicely presented, I feel the portions — especially the meat portions — could be larger for the price you pay.
Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for a fun and interactive dining experience for a special occasion, but I think the food quality and portion sizes could be improved to better match the cost.

My son and I come to Benihana every year on Christmas because hardly any other restaurants are open and I rarely feel like cooking no matter what day it is that being said we have a great time when we come. This was our first time at this location and we had a great time. The only thing I don’t like is sitting so close to everyone. I wish we had a little more space in between chairs. But everything else went great. Chef Jeffrey was a blast. He made everything fun and had a great personality to entertain. I loved when he threw the egg in the air and it landed inside his hat. The restaurant is of course on the noisy side, but that is to be expected when coming here. My chicken fried rice was delicious. My son sushi was also delicious. Thank you for the memories.

Six-Course Hibachi Dinner. It was AMAZING! Thank you so much to our lovely waitress, Kendra. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her positive energy and great service really elevated our dinner. The hibachi chef Billy was absolutely incredible! He was hilarious, kept everyone laughing the entire time, and made the experience so entertaining from start to finish. The jokes, the energy, and the food were all on point. We’ll definitely be back. Hands down one of the best hibachi experiences I’ve had! Thank you so much Benihana 🙂

This hibachi restraunt gives you a lot less food than normal, I cleaned my plate and I have a low apetite. They upcharge 9 dollars for fried rice which adds a tiny bit of veggies, butter and soy. The server Bruce the entire time was trying to upsell us on drinks and rice and anything he could think of. Their bathrooms were ins filthy condition, and out of toilet paper. Three of us cost $250 and we had a high scale dinner last night for less. We left thinking what “were we doing there?” Also the 6 course hibachi meal comes with ice cream at the end, and we had to remind our server Bruce it was included. He rudely replied by studying our receipt and then asking what flavor we want. Also mid dinner he said “give me your cup” to me, so he could fill it with water. The service was so bad! I’m embarrassed I took my Mom, who’s a chef, here.

OMG! Love it!! The service is excellent, very courteous, the hibachi experience is amazing, from the moment I entered to the restaurant they are very nice, friendly and attentive! From the host and the bartender and the manager gave me the best service!! I ended with a foto by the house!! I wish the place I lived had a Benihana restaurant! When I come back to Orlando, Florida again this restaurant is in my amazing restaurant list! Hope this review helps others !

This was such a fun experience! Krystal was our server and she welcome us with a big smile and excellent service always coming back to make sure we were served and topped my water. Chef Le was sensational with his tools and made the food to perfection. He made sure we laugh and we’re satisfied with our tummies. What a stud.
