I’m extremely disappointed with the repeated service issues at Benihana – Coral Springs. I placed a phone order at 8:50 PM and very clearly asked for no vegetables in the rice. I even explained that this exact mistake has happened to me three previous times, where I’ve had to wait nearly 40 minutes for my order to be remade. The employee assured me she understood.
When I arrived to pick up my food, it was wrong again — vegetables in the rice. I then had to stand there and wait while they remade it. This has become a consistent issue at this location, and it’s frustrating that such a simple request continues to be ignored. It also feels as though staff become irritated when I ask for my order to be made correctly.
At this point, it’s clearly not a one-time mistake but a pattern. This store needs better communication, attention to detail, and improved customer service. I shouldn’t have to repeatedly check my order or wait for remakes over a basic customization request

I’ve been a Benihana fan for years—Atlanta, NYC, DC, Miami—and this time, Coral Springs was the lunch pick. It was a last-minute idea, and I’m glad we went! The location is lovely, with nice outdoor aesthetics and a calm vibe, especially since we arrived after the lunch rush. ✨
We tried their new Express Lunch, which is a great concept: hibachi meat and veggies cooked in front of you, with rice served separately from the kitchen. All for around $15, which is a steal for the Benihana experience! My man started with miso soup, I had the salad, and our hibachi chef came out quickly—friendly, fun, and gave us the classic little show we love.
The catch with the Express Lunch is that it’s designed to be In-N-Out in 45 minutes or less—no substitutions, just a streamlined hibachi meal A. And it mostly worked… until the rice. That part was a hiccup. It took an extra 10–15 minutes to arrive, and by then, my meat and veggies had cooled down. I wasn’t about to eat without my rice, so that delay definitely dampened the experience a bit.
That said, once everything was on the table, the food was delicious. They didn’t rush us, even with the delay, and the staff was kind throughout.
If they can tighten up that rice timing, this Express Lunch could be a real win. Still, for a quick hibachi fix with good food, friendly service, and a peaceful setting, it’s worth checking out. ️

I had a good time at Benihana in Coral Springs! Our server, Charity, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Our cook, Enzo, brought awesome energy to the hibachi table—fun, skilled, and really engaging. They both made the experience memorable for a guest who was a first timer… their warm personalities truly stood out. Great people! Giving a four star because we weren’t sat for about 10-15 minutes waiting in the lobby for a server/host to address up. They were there back-and-forth, but not reading the room that there’s a line of guests. The shift manager was a woman, didn’t catch name, but she explained the FWB rewards program to me thoroughly, which I appreciate.

Came to celebrate my mother’s 68th birthday and we had a fantastic time. Our server, Shericka, was phenomenal. Took our drink and appetizer orders promptly, and they were all brought out within minutes. Our party of 7 was beyond satisfied with the entire experience. From being greeted at the door, to quickly being seated and served our drinks, to our amazing hibachi chef. 10/10 for the entire evening!!

Definitely recommend coming to this location over all the other ones in South Florida. Thankfully our chef Marco “tequila” was the one that came to our table. I’ve been to benihanas many times before and this is by far the best experience I’ve had. I came for my daughters 3rd birthday and he made it such a great time for her. He was funny and interactive and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Christian was our server and he was also very attentive and super nice.

We always love the food at Benihana’s, however the place looks so dated and needs a face-lift. The carpeting at the entry looks so dirty. They were very busy so the Habachi chef didn’t do a lot of the tricks they would usually do, so I felt a bit slighted. He cooked the food real quick amd was on to the next. He was however very pleasant and nice. Charity, our waitress did a phenomenal 5-star job. She was very busy, yet extremely patient, pleasant and provided great service. I wanted to buy her a drink because you could see she was very busy, but making it happen with a smile! I appreciate her for doing her best!
She deserves a raise. The manager who was checking in reservations, could smile a little bit more and be more welcoming. She was nice, but very stressed. In all food was great, service was great but this place needs to getan update and remove the nasty carpet.
