Second time coming here and loved it! Celebrated my father’s birthday and we loved the food. We did have to wait a bit even after putting in a reservation so expect a wait time before being seated but while waiting you can get some drinks at the bar. Love the show they provide when cooking your food and more than enough food you receive when you go in for the full hibachi experience.

Benihana, what happened to you? we used to go several times a year. Then moved further away and decided to make the 1.5 hour drive to get there. Called to make a reservation then was told to make it online. OK, so we did. Arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and then was told was running 20 minutes behind. an hour later I check in a said we were next. During this time I overheard people commenting about their wait and what time their reservation was (which happened to even be later reservation time) get seated before us. Finally when we were seating it was over an hour and a half after reservation time to even get salad. the chef came out another 20+ minutes later. so here we are 2 hours after reservation the chef finally starts cooking. (which we had other evening plans that we had to cancel thanks to waiting so long)

My wife is gluten free and their menu said they have options. So she told the server and brought out some miso soup and oil and vinegar for her salad. After that, everything was cooked together and rather than just causing an issue with everybody else at the table which we were already crammed in with 10 people and have waited 2 hours to eat she just ate a little as its more of an intolerance than a full on allergy, either way had she been fully allergic there would have been big issues.

So after that and the fried rice that is overly expensive addon was burnt and my 4x scallops with shrimp that was all overcooked and rubber and even the chicken was dry and crispy. for the price paid here and the amount of money spent and then still leaving hungry as the portion was small, there was not much of a show. The chef dropped his spatula on the ground and then just wiped it off with a dirty rag. a neighbor chef didn’t have a cooking fork then asked ours for a spare? then the other chef behind ran out of sauces and even chicken. They forgot an ice cream at our table. I can see why they were so late. So disorganized, what I can’t see is why people keep coming back.

Extremely long wait, Very Expensive, small portions and where are the real chefs? these guys don’t look trained in Japan at all!

The staff was nice and it was busy. But going to need to improve 100% to be justified in the drive and cost. Better options much closer to home and with much smaller wait times.

Benihana never disappoints! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh. The atmosphere was lively and fun, making it a great dining experience from start to finish.

Special thank you to Rob, our chef, who made the evening truly memorable! His energy, skill, and personality brought so much joy to the table. He kept everyone entertained while preparing our meals with precision and care. You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and it shows in both the presentation and the taste.

Highly recommend dining here if you’re looking for great food, amazing service, and an unforgettable experience!

The food is always amazing. We had a reservation but had to wait quite a bit until we were seated. Service was good but it took a while before things got started. Our cook was ok. He dropped the utensils a few times and didn’t do many tricks like the others which was alright. I went for my birthday and was really craving that special Benihana taste and it was wonderful to have it again. One thing we noticed was the temperature in the room was really cold. I kept my sweater on the whole time. Even though we sat next to the hot plate, we were freezing. They must have really cranked up the A/C.

Chef Lester at Benihana is hands down my favorite Benihana chef of all time — the absolute GOAT and the best cook ever. From the moment he started at the grill, the energy was unmatched. The tricks? Flawless. The timing? Perfect. The vibes? Elite.

Not only was the food cooked to perfection (literally the best I’ve ever had there), but he made the whole table laugh and turned dinner into a full-on experience. You can tell he actually loves what he does, and it shows in every flip, flame, and perfectly seasoned bite.

If you get Chef Lester, just know you won the Benihana lottery. 10/10 every single time.
WE NEED MORE LESTER !! Ask for him !!!!!!!!!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and chose the lounge/sushi bar area since we weren’t looking for a long, drawn-out hibachi experience.

When we opened the menu—holy cow—the prices were expensive. $37 for hibachi chicken at lunch is a tough pill to swallow. The most disappointing part, though, was the portion size. For what you’re paying, the amount of protein you get is completely inadequate. It felt borderline ridiculous.

On the positive side, the host and server were perfectly fine and attentive. No complaints there.

Bottom line: this place comes down to value. The portion size simply doesn’t justify the price. If you’re hungry—or expect your money to go further—you may leave disappointed.

OMG, what a birthday dinner/surprise! Our waitress (Anna) and our chef (Joseph) were just outstanding. The food was absolutely great. Anna was out waitress and she was just on top of everything. Joseph put on the best show I’ve seen at Bennihana. Food was cooked to perfection! Best birthday present yet!

Isaac was the chef for tonight and did an amazing job. Everything is always better once the food starts cooking. Unfortunately it took us 1.5 hours to be seated. So that was only frustrating thing about the night.
