My wife is gluten free and their menu said they have options. So she told the server and brought out some miso soup and oil and vinegar for her salad. After that, everything was cooked together and rather than just causing an issue with everybody else at the table which we were already crammed in with 10 people and have waited 2 hours to eat she just ate a little as its more of an intolerance than a full on allergy, either way had she been fully allergic there would have been big issues.
So after that and the fried rice that is overly expensive addon was burnt and my 4x scallops with shrimp that was all overcooked and rubber and even the chicken was dry and crispy. for the price paid here and the amount of money spent and then still leaving hungry as the portion was small, there was not much of a show. The chef dropped his spatula on the ground and then just wiped it off with a dirty rag. a neighbor chef didn’t have a cooking fork then asked ours for a spare? then the other chef behind ran out of sauces and even chicken. They forgot an ice cream at our table. I can see why they were so late. So disorganized, what I can’t see is why people keep coming back.
Extremely long wait, Very Expensive, small portions and where are the real chefs? these guys don’t look trained in Japan at all!
The staff was nice and it was busy. But going to need to improve 100% to be justified in the drive and cost. Better options much closer to home and with much smaller wait times.
Special thank you to Rob, our chef, who made the evening truly memorable! His energy, skill, and personality brought so much joy to the table. He kept everyone entertained while preparing our meals with precision and care. You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and it shows in both the presentation and the taste.
Highly recommend dining here if you’re looking for great food, amazing service, and an unforgettable experience!
Not only was the food cooked to perfection (literally the best I’ve ever had there), but he made the whole table laugh and turned dinner into a full-on experience. You can tell he actually loves what he does, and it shows in every flip, flame, and perfectly seasoned bite.
If you get Chef Lester, just know you won the Benihana lottery. 10/10 every single time.
WE NEED MORE LESTER !! Ask for him !!!!!!!!!
When we opened the menu—holy cow—the prices were expensive. $37 for hibachi chicken at lunch is a tough pill to swallow. The most disappointing part, though, was the portion size. For what you’re paying, the amount of protein you get is completely inadequate. It felt borderline ridiculous.
On the positive side, the host and server were perfectly fine and attentive. No complaints there.
Bottom line: this place comes down to value. The portion size simply doesn’t justify the price. If you’re hungry—or expect your money to go further—you may leave disappointed.
