I recently visited Bendi Restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with some standout dishes. The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated, though the service could have been a bit more attentive. It took a little while to be greeted at the door, and there was also a noticeable wait when placing our order and later when receiving the bill. However, the staff was friendly once they engaged, and the quality of the food made up for the slower pace.
The General Tso’s chicken was the absolute star of the meal — perfectly spiced, crispy yet tender, and coated in a deliciously balanced sweet and tangy sauce. It went perfectly with the white rice and was one of the best versions I’ve had in a while. The barbecue ribs were equally impressive — tender, juicy, and packed with rich, smoky flavor that showed real care in preparation. The Bendi soup was also very good, warm and flavorful, and a nice start to the meal.
The only disappointment was the Singapore noodles, which had more vegetables than I prefer and didn’t quite deliver on flavor. Still, Bendi serves excellent food overall, and I’d definitely return — hopefully with a bit quicker service next time.

We checked out Bendi Wok for the first time and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is super cool—kind of an edgy Chinatown vibe with tons of personality. The drinks were creative and fun, and every dish we tried was fantastic. It’s such a great addition to German Village, and we love that it’s close by. We’ll definitely be back soon to check out the rest of the menu! Many thanks to Brandon, the awesome bartender/server, we couldn’t have asked for a better ambassador of the restaurant!

Absolutely amazing! I’ve heard tons of people talking about This local gem and while I had never tried it before it has been on a personal list for me. And let me tell you it did not disappoint. I would recommend pretty much anything on the menu I have now tried quite a few options. My favorite being the phang bang Shrimp as well as the Pad Thai. My friends and I came in pretty late but the staff was just as friendly and accommodating as ever. The atmosphere is super cool has a trendy low key vibe that is perfect for any occasion. I was also pretty impressed either way the prices! Especially factoring in the amount of food they give you. Can’t praise it enough but safe to say I will be back!

Portions were small for what you pay. This picture was $50 before tip. I could see the portions being worth it if the food was good.
General tsos was mid. Fried rice was absolutely pathetic, I do way better at home with minimal effort. It was gummy and flavorless. Pad Thai was lacking fish sauce, peanut flavor, spice, tamarind and lime flavors… like not sure why they’re holding back. The “spicy” panang could be considered spicy if you think black pepper is spicy.

Top 3 best Thai food in Columbus!!! The atmosphere is gorgeous and cozy and the food was so flavorful. I like spicy and that was the one thing missing but overall absolutely delicious. Dan Dan Noodles are a MUST.

soooo good. great great food, i always get one of the bahn mi options, which they have yummy chicken and tofu versions of! service was insanely fast. the drinks are always unique and delicious, some of them with a tiki vibe, &the servers and manager are super kind. specifically our server was the person with curly purpley hair and animal balloon earrings and they were excellent. +the decor is vibey and cool and really adds to the atmosphere. i love you bendi wok i will always love you!

Ordered delivery / takeout when visiting from out of town. Food arrived hot and perfectly as ordered. Some of, if not THE, best drunken noodles I’ve ever had. Appreciated the add-on options. Spice level was amazing (I added jalapenos and spice, which may not be for everyone). My ribs app/ small plate were also great and hit the spot. Wife loved her dish but kept wanting to “try” my noodles with steak despite the fact she’s vegetarian. Would give 6-stars if that was an option. Must try IMO
