Have been a Benchitos customer for a few months, I always get the machaca breakfast burrito or the crazy burrito. Both are perfect w flavor and super filing.
I wanted to try their shrimp and fish tacos . I went with the fish and they are a decent size. The fish is cooked nicely , lightly dressed with lettuce and Pico. I got 2 and was a good portion for lunch. Now I need to try their shrimp tacos !

I’m not from Mexico. I’ve never been to Mexico. I can’t comment on how authentic the food is, but this is the best Mexican food I have had. Really delicious!
I had the Steak Ranchero breakfast plate. Easily the best refried beans I’ve had. Perfect rice. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the steak and veg were perfect as well.

Had to check out this new spot. Pretty cool spot and lots of room if have party of 4. Food was excellent and also they have a small salsa bar and with all the fixings. Will be back and bring more people with me. Lol

Great new Mexican spot on State Street with a fresh taste and fast, friendly service! Menu reminds me of Rancherito’s without the long drive thru lines. The carne asada fries and burrito were both delicious and full of flavor. Convenient location, clean, and worth stopping by anytime you’re craving good Mexican food!

This is a new Mexican spot that just opened up a few months ago. I had their carne asada fries and it was very delicious. The carne asada is probably the best of all the other places I’ve had (Rancherito’s, Betos, Alberto’s). The customer service was also great!

A must-try if you love a bomb breakfast burrito! Came across Benchitos on grubhub . Being a sunday and not really wanting to cook I knew I wanted a delish Burrito.
I normally get a Crazy burrito from a Utah chain restaurant but when it comes to trying other items aside of that item Ive always been disappointed.
I was so excited when I saw Benchitos not only had their own Crazy burrito … but they had Machaca!!! I got both and they were both so filling , a good flavor and they give plenty of salsa to accommodate the portion.
The beef was cooked well , juicy , the eggs were fluffy and I didn’t mind the green peppers. The Crazy burrito was equally impressive-had a nice smoky taste to it as well. So do yourself a favor and try both . I look forward to trying more of the menu in time as I see their open late and have a drive thru . Keep up the stellar work Benchitos!

Open from 6 AM to 2 AM (yes, almost around the clock and the rarest in SLC) and they even have a drive-through, which is a total game-changer.
What more could you want? Fresh food that tastes as quality as it is, caring service, and hours that work for any craving.
The owner is often there in person, and you can tell he truly cares — not just about the quality of the food, but about the customers too. There’s a real heart and passion behind everything they serve, which makes the experience special.

Thinks my new favorite Mexican place. Everything I’ve had has been delicious and fresh. The birria burrito is my favorite but this torta is a close second. Staff is super friendly as well and the prices are very reasonable. I hope they stick around for a long time.

The menu is pretty much the same as other -itos fast food mexican places, but the difference here is the quality is so much better than any of the other fast food mexican places. There is more of a wait than some of the other places, but it’s nothing unreasonable. Especially since you can tell the food is freshly prepared after you have ordered it. They are also willing to customize your food. Benchitos has become our local go-to for mexican fast food.
