Very nice charming restaurant. Food was delicious and nicely plated. Atmosphere was lovely… perfect for couples or smaller groups – there is also the ability to have a larger group near the side wall (when I was there it looked like a group of about 10 people gathered). Staff is wonderful and the rum punch was tasty. Has a nice mix of locals and tourists.

Amazing restuarant! You can tell the staff and chef love their job. My husband and I did not have a reservation (recommend you have one), but they were accommodating. We sat the bar. We saw the staff work efficiently to make sure everyone’s drink and meal orders came out timely. My husband had the lamb shank and I had the Mahi Mahi with shrimp entree. It was delicious and fresh. Google maps satellite is not updated and does not show the building but its right where the location on maps shows.

2nd trip to Anguilla and I don’t want to say how many times we’ve sat down at Ben’s or gotten takeaway over our stays. . The staff is wonderful, he himself cooks with joy and love that comes through in his dishes. He could operate anywhere and be busy, and his pizza is delicious as well. No pics of that sorry. Also no photo of the crispy goat cheese salad it went too fast.

Top of the line French food. Wonderful cheeses. Good bar drinks.

Lamb shank was delicious. Onion soup was very good, but had too much bread in it. But still very good.

Our waitress was so kind and helpful but the Floor Manager Man was very grumpy and basically rude. He kind of took the fun put of our dinner and the tables around us.

Grumpy Floor Manager is the only reason we gave 4 stars . Otherwise it is a very nice and (potentially) fun place.

Reservations recommend.

We ate at Ben’s last evening and it was amazing. We had the beef and the lamb which both were super tender and flavorful. The warm chocolate cake was excellent! Don’t miss this restaurant and call ahead as it is very small.

My husband and I had our last dinner in Anguilla here last night and it didn’t disappoint. Our resort made reservations for us, which is highly recommended. I started with the French Onion Soup and had the mussels with fries while my hubby had the duck with potatoes Au gratin. We finished with the profiteroles which were made perfectly. Their hours/days aren’t accurate on Google so be sure to give them a call to confirm when they are open and make a dinner at The Pit Stop a priority!

We came here for our final dinner. We have been passing this place for years every time we visit the island and it did not disappoint. Top 5 best meals we’ve had on the island ever(have been coming to Anguilla over 20 years). Our waitress was amazing.

Driving by on the road you could mistake this shack for a BBQ joint or a small bodega. Slow down, however, and be rewarded with a French chef and dedicated crew superbly executing imaginative food just southwest of Island Harbour. Akira runs a tight ship up front, and the solid menu is enhanced by no shortage of specials, from which menu we chose… Foie gras from a shed on the side of the road, why not? Brioche toasts were ethereally crispy platforms for the exceptionally tender terrine to be spread on with a bit of onion jam. Absolutely perfectly cooked mahi with spot-on shrimp and a lobster sauce to be shipped up with buttery and slightly crisp rice timbale. Bright sweet potato puree and a curry tuile accented the seasonal veg. A glass each of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio were our first non-rum drinks on island. Moelleux of course had to be tried and did not disappoint. Maraschino garnish not exactly imaginative but the crushed pistachio worked. Amazingly dialed-in and coordinated staff have service down to a science, truly a pleasure to watch from our “chefs table” at the bar. A well oiled machine at Ben’s Pit Stop, highly recommended.

Nice evening meal, food was delicious, service seemed a little slow, server seemed tired and distracted. Server demanded a tip on top of the 15 percent, and lied about getting none of it. Poor finish to an otherwise good evening.

The Pit Stop by Ben was hands down our most favorite restaurant on the island during 8-day stay. Every dish we had (3 cheese pizza, tuna sashimi, duck leg confit, beef bourgeon, scalloped potatoes, creme brulee) were super delicious and at very affordable price by the island standards. The restaurant is full of return customers and a reservation is a must. Unfortunately, a reservation has to be done over the phone only and language barrier makes it a bit difficult. The menu looked so good that it was difficult to choose – if I come back to the island again, I would probably just go and eat there every day until I try every single dish.
