We love to go here for the chili dogs! Also the hard ice cream is delicious, try the Michigan Pot Hole . My daughter likes the pulled pork sandwich too.

I can only speak for the ice cream, but it is great. The blueberry waffle cone and carrot cake were both awesome. Top it off with a homemade waffle cone and you got the complete package!

I absolutely love Ben & Janie’s!!! I run over there for food and ice cream every chance I get! Everything I’ve had has always been tasty and of the highest quality!! I always leave there full, and even leave with left overs for home, because the portions are so generous:) Along with the food, the staff is always friendly and efficient! I encourage everyone that has not tried Ben & Janie’s to stop by, you will not be disappointed!!!

Rude service, slow, and not great.
This is usually our favorite ice cream shop, but we stopped by for light food and ice cream today and were sorely disappointed. We had to return to the window twice to get our food corrected and get silverware, and were met both times with rude service and having the screen slammed in our face.
The ice cream servings are usually generous, but food servings were small (BLT sandwich) and cold, missing toppings (baked potato). Service was extremely slow and we waited 15 minutes for our food.
Needless to stay, we did not stay for ice cream. It wasn’t worth the $31 we spent for food for our family. It appeared management was not on site (we’re so used to seeing the friendly owners) so perhaps that’s why we had such a poor service. I’m not sure we will be back.

Absolutely LOVE Ben & Janie’s! We always get outstanding service and the food and ice cream are great! Our favorites are the coneys, mexi mac n cheese, Italian sub and chef salad! The owners are also AMAZING people! Highly recommend Ben & Janie’s!

We had the worst experience there today. I ordered ice cream with my husband. His was wrong, I didn’t get mine. The girls were goofing around and so rude. When I went back to the window I was met with an incredible attitude and disrespect. The girl ringing up the orders should not be allowed to work with the public. We left without my ice cream and will never return. What a disappointing trip.

Ice cream appetizer was great coney dogs(we got shredded cheese vs the nacho cheese) and sandwiches were great maybe some of them could have been hotter but great food again. Again great top notch service from nice people I recommend stopping here if your just rapping up some golf or driving by
