We are always searching for local restaurants in support of local businesses and we stumbled upon this gem! A very local home town setting that lead to a quaint and friendly atmosphere inside! We loved that they had MeTV showing Father Knows Best! The restuarant was clean and welcoming! The service was wonderful! The food was soooooo good! I had the corned beef hash and cheese omelet!! We also split the biscuits and gravy!! My husband had scrambled eggs, bacon & homefries!! Everything was so yummy & hot!! They also serve lunch & dinner which we will have to stop in for. We will definitely be back!

Always a great breakfast here. Servers are friendly and the food is always spot on. Sometimes the wait may be a bit long if there’s a packed house but it’s definitely worth it. I usually get the omelettes because they are perfectly cooked and delicious. The home fries you get with your meal are a great addition to any dish (especially the crispy ones). A great stop if you are in Waymart and looking for some good hometown cooking. They even made the boy a mickey mouse pancake with a sausage smile!

No CNN on the TVs here- they’ve got the old “Leave it to Beaver” type station going. Made breakfast so much more relaxing. Kielbasa is the real deal. Also have homemade pastries. Wish they had homemade jelly too. Can’t wait to go back. Never new Waymart had so much.

I’ll give credit where credit us given, we sat at a table and waited 45 minutes to even get menus and drink orders. There were 3 other tables that came in before ours that had the menu and drink order. The food was good but service absolutely sucked. It looks like they take care of the “regulars” better then any other customers.

The food is awesome big portions and reasonably priced, Sundays can be a little slow going only because most of the church’s congregations will go to the cafe afterwards.

Small Town cafe with great food and service. I had the grand slam turkey sandwich with fries, it was delicious. Glad we stopped in, will definitely stop again.

Terrible experience. Maybe because we aren’t regulars? We walked in and were gruffly told to “sit anywhere” by a waitress who simultaneously blocked our way to get anywhere. After finally maneuvering around her, we made our way to the tables, each uncomfortable in its own unique way. The booths are old and sagging, and the tables are beyond wobbly. The carpeting is filthy. We were never spoken to again. No one came to check on us or take our order. Others around us seemed to be fairing the same, so we left after about 10 minutes. We were looking for a quaint small town breakfast place, but this place didn’t feel welcoming at all.
