I had the #29 fried eggs covered with cheese sauce with some Canadian bacon on top. It was a little bland and some smoked paprika on top would have helped. Service was fast and no pressure to buy more which I really enjoyed. The place has real potential, but it needs to be cleaned up and not look like a dive. They could certainly use a more fresh food feel. I was so excited to go to this little diner because I like eggs Benedict and this sauce is the same they put on their eggs Benedict. Not my favorite. I’m sure they’ve got some things that are delicious. The price was reasonable.

The aesthetic was nice. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t authentic not that I expected everything on the menu to be. At the least, I would’ve expected the pancakes to be homemade, but you can definitely taste that it was from the box. We also got the chilaquiles with steak, and that was bland. The host and waiter were nice, so that’s good! But yea, don’t think I’ll be going back.

A very small country, local diner down in Bellflower. I drove down from West LA specifically for this diner because I am working through a list of all the diners in Los Angeles County. I don’t come to this area often so it was nice to mix it up. The menu is very limited, but does have a lot of great American diner classics on it. Our server was nice however everything that we ordered and getting checked on was very delayed. They forgot our drink refills two separate times and also all of our food items came out very slowly. They also kept running out of coffee because a couple large groups kept getting all of their coffees refilled and then I’d have to wait for mine to brew. Pricing is fair and portion sizes are medium so if you are in the area, it can be a good deal. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but street parking is extremely easy to find in this part of town. I was able to find a free space right out front.

For our first visit, we chose the Eggs Benedict and the Chilaquiles with Chile Verde. The Eggs Benedict was actually pretty good and I especially enjoyed the cheddar cheese mixed in. The chilaquiles were also very nice and the sauce really added to the overall flavors. The eggs on the Eggs Benedict were a bit overdone and not as runny as I like, but still, both dishes had some nice flavors.

I would recommend if you are in the area and are searching for a nice local diner.

Being from the area, decided to come for breakfast for the first time and it was delicious! Good priced and the atmosphere felt very friendly with other folks having a good time. Their hot chocolate looked and tasted good. Had waffles with eggs and sausage for my breakfast.

I had a waffle combo with Bananas, eggs, and sausage. I gotta say the sausages were too dry and the eggs were decent. My 1st time at this diner. Their selection for omelettes seems greater on the Menu but not too many choices on add-ons. I asked for red-skin potatoes, not something it’s offered but you can ask for hash browns as an option.

Wow! I will have PTSD on their food! Nice folks, but the food, terrible! I had pork chops but were more pork fiber board. The coffee, or what I think was suppose to be coffee was more like tainted black warm water. The hash browns were burned and hard. My wife ordered eggs over easy, but were super well done, short of boiled eggs. This felt like I lost 40 bucks at the craps table without even a comp beer. Wanted to support small business but was short changed. Again, nice folks working there but they need a new cook and better recipes. Oh yeah, the cook even burned the toast

Passed by this place a few time since moving to the neighborhood and finally got the chance to try it. I had the thin Belgium Waffle and hash brown both were great I really liked the size of the waffle and the hash browns were cut thicker and I loved it. My mom had the California omelette and she really enjoyed it the salsa had a really great kick. And finally my Grandma had the menudo and she is really picky and she ate the whole thing. We’ll definitely be back!
