Was looking for a quick bite to eat after taking our kids to the zoo and stopped here. Super cute little place and the food was decent. There was a woman though who I think was responsible for table clearing (not the waitress, she was great) who kept coming up to our table and making weird remarks to my kids. Saying things like she was going to eat there food and that they better watch out before she takes them away. The first time I brushed it off but the second and third were extremely uncomfortable. I honestly grabbed my son at one point because she got so close to him and was in his face, touching him. It’s really unfortunate because I thought the food was pretty good but my family and I just felt so uneasy. I’m not sure if I’d go back but I wouldn’t recommend if you have little kids.

Excellent meal and standout service. The French onion soup was hands-down the best around – generous portion, perfectly crispy on top, with the cheese melting over the edges exactly how it should be. The Cape May scallops were solid, cooked well, and flavorful. We also had the Wisconsin cheddar chicken sandwich and a classic cheeseburger, both very good.

What really made the experience though was the service – absolutely stellar, attentive without hovering, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, a great meal, which honestly feels hard to come by around here sometimes. We’ll definitely be back.

Charming restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. The menu has traditional dishes and comfort food. I loved how cozy the dining area was with plush booths and etched glass. I came here specifically for The Crab Au Gratin, something I rarely see on menus these days. I highly recommend pairing it with pasta in a butter garlic sauce. My husband said the fish and chips were excellent and we just came back from the UK. They had a nice kids menu and my son enjoyed the fried shrimp. The pricing was reasonable for a shore town. It’s located between stone harbor and cape may. We’ll return again!

We walked in and got seated right away. They weren’t crazy busy at the time. Our waitress came over and got our drink order and not long after that took our order. Everyone was very friendly and the food was good. I will definitely be back!

We recently hosted a bridal shower here, and we worked with Dennis Senior and Dennis Junior. The team was so accommodating, attentive, and easy to work with! The upstairs space is extremely spacious with beautiful with large, modern windows. The eggplant parm and baked ziti were fantastic.

Debbie was an awesome server!

Would recommend Bellevue tavern for any private events – prices were extremely affordable as well.

this place is absolutely beautiful. the waitress who took care of us, Christine was an absolute angel. she even bagged our food for us and overall was a sweet and amazing soul. we live right around the corner and never even thought of coming there until today but were definitely coming back. the staff, the inside, and over all everything’s amazing. we went for my mom’s Birthday but were gonna come back and they might just consider us regulars.

Four of us ate here over the weekend the fried calamari was sub par the breading was not delicate enough, kind of like an onion ring. Two of us ordered the stuffed flounder, both dishes the flounder was dry tasteless and overcooked the crab stuffing inside was very good, they say that you have choice of three vegetables, however applesauce should be considered a side NOT a vegetable and while cabbage is a vegetable coleslaw is also a side dish the only other option was carrots, not good for a restaurant. The scampi was ok and the lemon chicken was good, nice portion size. Having said that don’t think we will be going back, sorry just my honest opinion

Stopped in for lunch today and we enjoyed our visit. Before I talk about the food, I must say they had the cleanest glassware and silverware I have ever seen for an establishment of this type.

The calamari appetizer was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The Cape May Scallops were grit free and wrapped in crispy bacon. The grilled Ruben was cooked to perfection with a nice amount of corned beef and the Turkey Avacado Club wrap was filled with fresh turkey, avacado and crispy bacon. The personal pizza had a soft crust which my daughter really enjoyed.

We can’t wait to come back and have a go at the dinner menu.

Food was terrible. Onion soup had bread and almost no onions. Onion rings were thickly breaded with horrible breading.and tasteless. Seemed refried.flounder was cold and tasteless. Only thing good were the French fries. Won’t come again.

My colleague treated me to lunch here because I ‘had to’ try the Memphis Chipotle Burger and he was right! What an amazing burger! Although the structure of the burger wasn’t unusual in terms of the ingredients, the quality of the meat itself was outstanding! The sweet potato fries were also crisp and delicious! A surprise treat was the chicken noodles soup as it was pepper-forward and contained a generous portion of tender chicken. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere and clean restrooms all made for a wonderful experience!
