Great breakfast. I got the Pick 4 Breakfast – eggs, hash browns, sausage links, and french toast, and it was tasty! Their corn beef hash was really good, too. They have good prices, good portions, a friendly staff, and a cozy, vintage atmosphere.

I absolutely love coming here when I do. I am not a big breakfast person, however, this is my spot when I do. Our server, Othell was amazing!! He knew the menu and sold us on the special. I loved the enthusiasm!! You don’t get that anymore! Such a great family restaurant and atmosphere!! Thank you for the experience.

Great portion size of very good food. Cooked perfect and no funky flavors haunting the dish. Coffee was great. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was quiet even though the place had people waiting for seating. No long wait time to be seated and as busy as it was, the food arrived quickly and exactly as we ordered it. Real half and half on the table and no sideways looks when we requested more coffee or cream. Restrooms are smaller single occupancy but extremely clean and comfortable. This place will earn your business with their food, prices, and friendly staff. I could say more but it was worth the drive from Alton. My new favorite breakfast place. Came here for crapes combo. Wow!

Decided to come here with a friend after the weather cancelled our outdoor plans. I ended up pleasently surprised by the service, food, and price! The service we recieved was amazing, the food was delightful, and the price was reasonable! Wonderful spot in town, and I’m happy that I live just down the street 🙂

The food was very delicious. I felt like I was having breakfast at my grandmother’s house . The atmosphere greatly attributed to that fact as well. Very dated and old looking but still home vibes. Would definitely come again!

I came across this restaurant on Google maps because I had to go shopping out this way one Saturday morning. I’m always up for trying a home town local place like this, and it did not disappoint. When we arrived around 11am, both the parking lot and inside was full and people were still going in to eat. They told me about 10 mins for my daughter and I, and it was probably right on the mark for waiting. We did have to wait a little to get menus and drinks, but quite a few tables had just left and the servers have to bus things themselves, so I understood not being immediately served.
Our server, Denis, was great and attentive. He apologized for the wait (so did one of the hostesses when we received our menus).
They have many different options for breakfast (I didn’t pay much attention to the lunch/dinner options) and they were all reasonably priced – between $9-12. The food did not disappoint and if I’m ever in the area again, I would suggest eating here too whoever I was with!

We arrived at 6 pm, an hour before close. We were acknowledged quickly and told to choose a seat which we did.
Food was made to order and quickly. Good taste, hubbies said pancakes were fluffy.
However while in the middle of eating, the gentleman cleaning up the dining room was cleaning tables with a high bleach content which had a strong smell. And he turned all the chairs upside down, made us feel very unwelcome.
Didn’t like that there were no tickets so not sure how the pricing was as high as it was. 1 meal 9.99, other meal 11.99. 1 drink and tax came to 30.xx.

There was an oil film in the coffee and on the dishes/ silverware.
We asked for new, and the new ones were the same.

Every chance I get, I go for an outstanding breakfast. The Breakfast/Pancake Special is always my go-to with a nice cup of hot, good coffee. The quality of the food is excellent and fresh! You want a “mom & pop” meal cooked with pride and priced right? Stop by and order.

The food was so dang good. I ordered the steak omelet that came with hash browns and I upgraded to some French toast.
