Love the little small mom & pop places. We’ve been going thru every day for the last 2 weeks and today decided to stop and see what their best burger flag was about.
We were not disappointed at all. Onions rings on point and burgers 10 stars! I recommend the BBQ bacon burger plus add some onion rings to it, and oh goodness.
Waitress was friendly and right on top of everything.
We will be going there again on our next time thru without a doubt.

Tried a quick bite at this place – went for a burger, nothing fancy. It was decent, nothing to write home about. The onion rings, on the other hand, were a highlight – really hit the spot. Had a casual chat with the cashier. The big parking lot was a convenient touch, large enough to fit my oversized load during my 30-minute break. Overall, a straightforward stop, but those onion rings made it worthwhile.

Great breakfast and even better conversation with the gal running this place! Highly recommended for people riding on the Southern Tier bicycle route!

Belle’s Kitchen #2 in Merryville, LA is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The food is fresh, the portions are big, and the biscuit & gravy was homemade. It was fantastic.
I’m not from the area, but if I’m passing through again I will be trying the cinnamon pecan pancakes.

If you’re looking for homemade and home cooked go elsewhere. Nothing was homemade about it. Premade burger patties, chicken strips, mashed potatoes and fries. The lady working there though was sweet and on top of the service she provided. Oh, and the wind chime on the fan needs to go!
