Looks like a lot of local residents came here early in the morning to sit down and eat. I like the variety of pastry in here too.
Pastries to satisfy any and all tastes, check
Coffee that doesn’t taste like the bean was under-roasted,check
Something a little savory because you need a little something for your salty soul, check
Sometimes all you need is a little Parisian bakery, in Old Town Bellevue to chill and wonder how on earth you survived another week but then you sip your beautifully bitter coffee (skip the water guys trust me) and follow it with a beautifully Bruléed Napolean that’s perfectly flaky and think all is well with the world, well until Monday comes along, but then eventually, another Saturday will come and maybe then you can grab their tiramisu, lots of things are solved by a great tiramisu, huh or a strawberry cake… might as well come by and check it out
The pastries, including croissant sandwiches and quiche, come fridge-cold — a detail that instantly undercuts the very essence of what makes these items special. A croissant, in particular, begs to be enjoyed warm, its exterior crisp and its interior tender. Instead, what you’re handed feels lifeless, as though it has been sitting in storage rather than freshly prepared.
Flavor-wise, there’s little that redeems the presentation. Nothing is offensive, but nothing stands out either; each bite is more perfunctory than pleasurable. In a city where bakeries and cafés compete to elevate classics, Belle Pastry offers little incentive to return.
For those seeking genuine French-style indulgence, this is, unfortunately, a hard pass. Bellevue diners deserve better than pastries that taste more like convenience than craft.
friends in an un-rushed environment as well as grab coffee and a snack to go. Perfection!

I was really disappointed that the traditional Black Forest was totally ruined my boyfriend’s birthday. I ordered a round cake the day before and picked up on 2/19. We cut the cake right after picking it up with less than 10 minutes drive. The cake was totally dry out just like it had been sitting in the freezer for a week. I was so sure to share this amazing dessert spot with my friends but turned out I wasn’t able to. No one in the party could even finish a piece of cake without water/drink.
