Stopped by Belle Chasse Café and overall had a good experience! The spinach and artichoke dip was a little disappointing, it was mostly cheese with barely any spinach or artichoke flavor. However, the shrimp was absolutely divine, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The raspberry mimosa was just as amazing, sweet and refreshing. I’d definitely come back for the drinks and seafood!

Group is out of town on a birthday trip and we just so happen to fall across this place and let me just say chefs kiss I don’t know who got cooking back there but BRAVOOOOOO to them ! Awesome place! Nice and relaxing ambiance, friendly and speedy service and an excellent menu selection! Food & drinks were outstanding! Highly recommend the poboys & street tacos! Definitely will be coming back!

We were looking for a place to stop for lunch which was not a fast food joint. Passing by we turned around to come to the Belle Chasse Cafe and we were glad we did.
Promptly greeted and sat the waitress patiently waited for us to select what we wanted. My wife cheated and decided on getting a shrimp po-boy just like mine but then again maybe I cheated after hearing her selection.
Our orders were taken and in no time our sandwiches arrived. The shrimp were warm and tasted fresh as well as the other ingredients on the sandwich. We enjoyed out meal and our waitress asked if we needed anything else. We had some food to take along with us and the wife wanted a water to go.
All in all it was a nice dining experience and our waitress could not have been nicer or more professional.

Great cafe and sports bar in Belle Chase. Ate lunch here twice, and was impressed both times. The service was friendly and helpful, and the owner Gerardo was very kind and professional. Always nice to see the owner taking pride in his business and helping out where needed.

Not as good as it used to be. The Ribeye was overly salted and not cooked to how I ordered it, my son’s burger was a mushy mess after a couple bites, and my wife’s order (Steak and eggs)…well, it never came to the table after we were assured several times it was on the way. We ended up telling the waitress to take it off our bill. My wife didn’t want to eat alone at the table or take it to go.
This is becoming a recurring theme. The past few times we have eaten here, our plates have arrived separately, but never with this big of a gap. And we are only a party of 3. You can’t get three plates ready at the same time? I don’t think we will be back any time soon. It was a pretty lousy experience last night, and for the prices, not worth it. I’m probably being a bit generous with 3 stars, because I really do root for businesses in Belle Chasse to succeed. Definitely room for improvements.

I love Belle Chasse Cafe. I’m never disappointed in the quality or portion side of their food. Service is always courteous and with a smile. Their ribeye tacos are the bees knees! Love the staff! Love the food!
