Lovely venue, set on a golf course. We sat on the patio and watched the sun set whilst eating dinner. Food was good, cocktails were excellent, and service was friendly and attentive.

We had a ladies lunch at Bellatrix and it was lovely. Beautiful atmosphere, our server Mikayla was very attentive and pleasant and the food was great. Two of us had the club sandwich, one had shrimp tacos and the other the poke salad. The poke salad was not good. It tasted fishy so it was sent back with no problems and they brought the blackened mahi sandwich. It was delicious and the garlic fries were tasty. I can’t believe this place wasn’t busier. Their upper parking lot was being resurfaced so we had to park in the lower parking lot. But they called ahead to tell us about it. There was a golf cart shuttle waiting to take us up to the door. And the hostess called him when we were done to pick us up. I will definitely go back. Maybe for happy hour as the bar was beautiful.

Had dinner at Bellatrix for the first time last Saturday. I was impressed with almost everything. The atmosphere was perfect with a great view of the golf course. It felt upscale without the stuffy pretentious vibe that often comes with upscale eateries. A very comfortable place to have a nice dinner. The service was excellent. We had an Ahi Tuna Tower as an appetizer. I think it’s meant to be more of a salad than a starter. The raw tuna was a bit under done. Relax, that was a joke. It was actually cooked perfectly. My Cesar salad was served with anchovies. Just like it should always be. It’s what makes it a Cesar salad. I honestly don’t remember what she order for her main course. I do remember that she loved. I had the prime rib medium rare. I have to say this is the only part of our experience that fell short. The sides were very good. However, the prime rib was not tender and juicy which is the most of the reason to have it in the first place. I mean, it’s a prime cut of rib beef cooked medium rare. I was chewy. Who ever is making the decisions on their beef purchases needs either a slightly larger budget or perhaps to find something they’re good at. Anyway, the place is great. I’ll definitely be back soon. I’m not going to order the prime rib and you shouldn’t either.

The restaurant is very attractive and comfortable, but you can’t eat ‘pretty’! The food is uninspired and mediocre. The server was very attentive and efficient. I felt sorry for him fielding our table’s complaints, and trying to replace unacceptable entrees. The four plus stars they apparently have attest more to the kindness of strangers than anything they did to deserve them.

Awesome, dinner was great, good staff. Happy hour(Nick) was great. Manager (John) came out to inquire how our meal was and we told him it was awesome, will return for our third visit.
