This is a great Italian restaurant. They greet you with fresh hot garlic bread and the entrees were excellent. We had chicken Florentine and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. Both came with a side salad. I look forward to my future visits.

They have a $2 surcharge that they automatically add to the bill. The pizza was okay. It would have been better if they didn’t put the onions on like I asked.
Paid $30 for a 12 inch pizza. Onions on 1 pizza

Dinner last night at the recommendation of my daughter’s friend. Quaint, small, unassuming restaurant. Excellent service. We had a variety of dishes–all very tasty and none of us were able to finish our food –portion size is pretty large. Had a bottle of chianti with our meal and, like the rest of the meal, it was excellent. Hidden gem in Boerne–you won’t be disappointed

Just in town for the night- we had dinner here. We ordered house salad and Chicken Parm and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. The food was good and reasonably priced. The complimentary garlic bread is amazing. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Would have given 5 stars had it not been for the awful, hyped up background music that was too loud and countered any sense of ambience. They should play Sinatra style or cool jazz.

Been visiting this location regularly for several years. The exterior is very unassuming, but the food is solid. We usually have a party of 4-5. Most recent time was party of 5 on a Thursday evening. About 1/3 full. Service was quick and friendly. Drinks and bread (every now and then it is under-baked, but this time it was perfect) were almost immediate. Prices are reasonable. Our favorites have been Lasagna, Cannelloni, Fettuccine Alfredo (usually with shrimp), Fettuccine Cabonara, Tortellini Michelangelo, and when we don’t know what to get, the sampler is a fine choice.

I like supporting local restaurants, so I gave Bella Sera a try. As far as authentic Italian restaurants go (and having lived in Italy for several years) I would say they are good but not great. The chicken parmigiana is very good. Large portion. The lobster ravioli is not as good or well proportioned as other restaurants. Sure, I could get more consistency from a chain Italian restaurant, but this place is fine if you want to support local restaurants. The servers are friendly. The atmosphere is fine. Prices are better than chain restaurants, and there is more variety with this menu. I rate Bella Sera 4/5 stars, but will return to give them an opportunity to boost the rating.

A great place for a great lunch of well-made, fresh Italian food. There are plenty of seats. The dining area is well-maintained and clean, and the service is attentive.

We LOVE Bella Sera! Always delicious, so welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond for an excellent experience. My husband knows the way to my heart is Bella Sera’s Chicken Calabrese with their gluten free pasta!
Thank you for another delicious, comforting meal and friendly faces tonight!

Old place but good service. You really can’t mess up minestrone which I enjoyed with my moscato but my husbands lasagna was to sweet and marinara should’ve been chucks. Delightful girl though!

Chicken Alfredo 3.5/5 – noodles were good, sauce was thick and a little bland. Less chicken than anticipated
Bread 3/5 – smells amazing and appears soft but is kinda crunchy in a weird way.
Gluten free pasta w/marinara – pasta was overcooked and super crumbly. Zero flavor, they’re just not a good noodle. Marinara tasted super bland too. I made pasta at home with minimal effort earlier this week and it was much better than this was, super disappointed.
It’s a run of the mill Italian restaurant, which is so disappointing because the Fredericksburg location was amazing.
