I’ve always loved their takeout menu, and I finally got to dine in and enjoy everything fresh—and it did not disappoint!
We had our Christmas dinner at Bella Note, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The drinks were great, and the food was excellent! I especially loved the freshness of the seafood and pasta. The risotto was phenomenal, and the desserts were amazing as well.
Overall, it was a fabulous experience. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending Bella Note to all my friends and family!

We had a waiter named Mario who was absolutely spectacular. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and he went above and beyond – bringing out dessert for her along with complimentary chocolates, which was such a sweet touch.
We ordered the seafood platter and felt it was a bit light on seafood for the price, but Mario immediately made it right by bringing out an additional plate of octopus on the house, which we really appreciated. He was extremely pleasant, attentive, and made the entire experience special. Outstanding service!

My first time there was a great experience. My friend that brought me there has been there several times. Our reservation was 530pm on a Saturday and it was already full of patrons. That was great to see. The side we were seated on felt small and quaint but the other side is much larger. Our server was lovely and checked on us frequently. My friend advise the service was too quick with meals coming out too soon in the past. This time she gave us ample time to talk and enjoy our food. We had a pinza which was divine. As well as Spaghettinni & meatballs and Penne with sausage with a half carafe of wine. For dessert we enjoyed a shared Tiramisu and a cappuccino and tea. Before tip we spent $138 on those 7 items.
Parking is full. A few spots are close by and some a minute walk to the other side of the lot.

Can’t believe it took me 5 years since moving to Whitby to discover this place, but I’m glad I finally did. Great Italian food, comfy and lovely atmosphere, the friendliest staff. Guaranteed you’ll have a lovely time. Highly recommend making a reservation, especially on Fridays and weekend.

Dessert: some sort of layered chocolate cake with fruit and whipped cream, crème brûlée, a flight of gelato
Everything was perfect and service was excellent!
And for everything we got, the price was quite reasonable for a higher end establishment.

Went in for a belated birthday dinner. It wasn’t very busy, as it was Halloween night and the Jays game was taking place. Very nice atmosphere and delicious food, but 10 stars goes to our lovely host, Bradley. You Sir, are a star! Charisma, personality, caring and humble. Thank you so much for making our night extra special. Bella Notte gave us a beautiful night indeed. We will be back! Food pictured: Stuffed Pasta, Chicken Limone, Tiramisu and Julianna’s Chocolate Surprise. All delicious! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love going Bella Notte for special occasions. Yesterday, we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary and we were greeted with happy wishes and a small box of chocolates. Our server was wonderful as always (he has been our server before) he made us laugh and checked in on us. He was doing his best when it started to get busy. Our seafood risotto and rack of lamb was absolutely perfect, mussels, lamb, risotto were not over or undercooked. There is a lot of selection here compared to other restaurants and the prices are very reasonable. I give 4.5 stars. The only downside was the grilled octopus was overdone and smaller in size. When it gets busy, it’s hard to get around the tables if you need to get to the bathroom and it does get loud. At the same time it’s nice to see this restaurant busy, especially on a Tuesday evening! It got very busy at the end of our dinner seating so my coffee was forgotten during dessert. We ordered the bombe and maple creme brûlée, excellent and not too sweet. This was a very special year for us. So thank you Bella Notte!

CELIAC SAFE!!!!!!
We had dinner tonight at Bella Notte Ristorante in Whitby.
I told my server Renée that I have Celiac disease and within 2 minutes, she brought out gluten free appetizer bread without me even asking for it. I was touched that she was so thoughtful, but not surprised because she was an incredibly attentive server. I can tell you, it was the BEST gluten free bread product I’ve ever had!
Any pasta can be made with gluten free noodles and many of their menu mains are marked gluten free.
I ordered the lemon chicken with a garlic lemon sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables and a side of gluten free pasta (because I HAD to try it).
The food was cooked to perfection! The lemon was tart, but not overpowering. The garlic mashed potatoes were fluffy and smooth as silk. The gluten free pasta had great texture, didn’t fall apart and tasted like regular gluten pasta.
The flourless chocolate cake comes out warm and goes beautifully with the vanilla Gelato!
I spoke to our server and she told me the owner Michael’s daughter was diagnosed with Celiac last year, so he is continually making improvements to ensure his daughter can eat safely. This is great news for us to trust the kitchen to keep us safe!
We are already planning our next visit so I can try the boneless braised beef ribs!
