The food is delicious and I’ve yet to have an entree I didn’t like. The Bella Napoli special is my favorite and I always end up wiping my plate with bread to get every last bit of that delicious sauce.
Affordable + hospitable + great food. Can’t go wrong with that combo.
The service, food, and atmosphere were all far exceeding the 5 stars that I could give above!
The waitresses were all very helpful and if one was busy another would come by and check on you. I greatly appreciate how tentative the staff was! We never ran out of something to drink and they came by several times to check on us while we were eating!
I got the chicken parmigiana and my wife got the penne rosa. Both dishes were great however the sauce that was in the penne rosa was amazing!! The next time I go I will be asking for the that on the chicken parmigiana!!!
I cannot say enough good about this restaurant!
I highly recommend you swinging by and giving them a shot as you will not be disappointed!
The prices were also very reasonable!
I did hear one of the waitresses mention to the people behind us that it is BYOB and there is a gas station next door where you can swing by and get whatever type of alcohol you would like and they have the glasses.
First and most concerning—there was plastic in one of the dishes. I initially mistook it for a sun-dried tomato and actually tried to eat it. After realizing the texture was off, I unwrapped it and saw it was a whole piece of plastic. That’s completely unacceptable and raises major food safety concerns.
On top of that, my grandfather ordered the Penne Rosa—actually, we ordered two of them—but one came out as a completely different dish. We still have no idea what it was. It wasn’t necessarily bad, but it definitely wasn’t what we ordered or paid for.
For the amount of money we spent on this order, the quality control and attention to detail just weren’t there. Really disappointed, and we won’t be returning.
Today they brought a slice of their homemade deep dish pizza (yet to be introduced to the daily menu) and asked for my opinion. Of COURSE, it was EXCELLENT! (See pic 3)
I always order meat sauce with their garlic bread as an appetizer every time. Highly recommend! (See pic 4)
My top fave is the Penne Chicken (as seen in pic 1& 2) … Also, the Chicken Scarpariello is another that I highly recommend…..
But really ….You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes! All are EXCEPTIONAL!
Oh and if you like cheesecake, get a load of theirs …. It’s their grandfather’s recipe…. Whoa!!!
Like I said, I cannot say enough about them. I’ll stop myself there as I could go on and on!
Great experience at Bella Napoli! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Our waitress was so kind and attentive—friendly service. Highly recommend! Lunch specials until 3pm. Rockwall, TX.
Update 12/28/24- I tried dine-in this time. I ordered their chicken with mushrooms, spaghetti and alfredo (chicken damabianca). It was delicious, and very filling, it is enough for 2.5 people. Their rolls tasted fresh and fluffy. I had their side salad with ranch, nummy too. The atmosphere is cozy modern Italian, wood tables, some booths with arches, modern upgraded wood floors. The waitress was helpful, energetic and nice throughout. The prices on the menus two years ago are outdated on Google, so I uploaded the updates. Most things were about $2 more than 2 years ago, still very reasonable. 1950’s or older music played when I was there, romantic to many. Comfortable, cozy, so full.
Service- Perfect. Literally perfect. Our waitress was super attentive and chatted over the menu with us as both my boyfriend and I don’t like onions. So she went over what she recommended and what they could alter or not, and also steered us clear of the couple items that would have onions in the sauce. Helped us picked out our food, while attending to the other guests and really had a great attitude the whole time.
Food – Fergie said it best – DELICIOUS.
The house made rolls that come out when you arrive are freaking divine. Warm garlic butter rolls…Need I say more?
We traded the house salad for ceasar salads, but they do come out as a large sized salad and not a side salad size, so there is an up charge, but 100% worth it.
The Alfredo sauce was clearly made in-house and fresh. It was so creamy, I truly hurt myself eating way more than I should have.
We got the Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce instead of marinara, and a kids cheese ravioli. Highly recommend all of it!!! Especially for the price! So many other Italian restaurants try and charge double their prices, for 1/2 the portions and 1/2 the quality.
This is probably one of my longest reviews, but there’s a reason. It was a GREAT experience and I really can’t wait to go back.
