This is a nice restaurant in Brookside. We had a reservation for 5:30 and the place was packed. There were also people waiting to be seated.

The food here is good. We had several dishes and two desserts. The wine was good and the staff were spot on. There’s a little deli and grocery store inside too. You can get sandwiches for lunch.

My wonderful wife and I visited this place for our 8th anniversary based on a coworker’s recommendation. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—the waiter was attentive, and all the staff were genuinely friendly. Learning that it’s a family-owned restaurant made the experience even more special.

The Italian food was fantastic. I ordered the lasagna, which was absolutely delicious, and my wife had a seafood-filled dumpling dish that she really enjoyed. While I can’t recall all the exact names of the dishes, everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with several families dining around us, which speaks to how welcoming the place is. Prices were also reasonable, making it a great spot for a family meal.

Next time, I’m definitely trying the pizza—we saw several tables enjoying theirs. Just a heads-up if you’re planning to go on a Friday night: parking can be a bit tricky, so plan ahead.

We had Valentine’s Day dinner at Bella Napoli and it was incredible. Best pasta in Kansas City and rivaled what we had in Italy. Was better than a fancy restaurant we went to there! The service was incredible and our server recommended wine and some dishes to us. She was spot on! Their in house sausage was delicious along with both of the sauces we had. And the house made pasta-incredible! The cost was reasonable. We had drinks, appetizer, salad, pasta dishes, and lots of dessert to go. We can’t wait to go back!

The pizza here is definitely not Napoli style. It has a much thicker crust and lacks flavor. I also had the Ravioli. This was better and had decent flavor. The meatballs are well done and recommended. The service was fantastic. Nice out door patio seating available. They also have an Italian deli and store inside.

Ordered lunch to go. Got the Calzone. Unfortunately it left a lot to be desired. Although it was HUGE, there were a few problems. I definitely would not get this again.

1. Lack of flavor. The calzone as a whole was pretty bland.

2. Crust was tough and chewy, not a good experience having to work to take a bite of your food.

3. They put ALL of the ricotta cheese at one end of the calzone and the sausage at the other. Not a fan of taking a full bite of only ricotta cheese.

Started with a refreshing limoncello spritz and bruschetta. Service was a bit slow to start, but food arrived quickly. Ravioli was solid, lasagna was tasty, carbonara was incredible—but the tortellini stole the show. Finished with a delicious homemade tiramisu.

After living in the Kansas City Metro area for 30 years we finally made it to Bella Napoli. It was everything I anticipated and more. We loved the neighborhood feel of this deli/restaurant/market. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming with a hint of bustle as regular shoppers come and go buying meats and cheeses from the market. My wife ate light ordering a Casa salad while I ordered the Margherita Pizza, Caprino salad with a glass of Super Toscan wine. And, to extend the dining experience to later that evening I ordered a slice of the Torta Della Nonna for carryout. The food, service and atmosphere was fabulous. It was well worth the wait. We will be back.

Everything about the experience was amazing. The wonderful customer service, the adorably comfortable decor, and the delicious and authentic food. Everything was just perfect! Our server was the absolute sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, she even made a little heart in my cappuccino. The food came out quickly and the quality was top notch. I meant to take pictures right when we got the food, but I got so enticed by the smell alone that I couldn’t resist eating a bit before snapping my photos. If you’re looking for diverse and authentic Italian food, you should absolutely come here. I may not be a KC local, but you better believe I’ll be coming back soon. Especially for that decadent tiramisu

Wonderful place! First time here on a Saturday in November. The place was busy with others eating lunch but my daughter and I were seated right away. The food was amazing. You could taste the fresh ingredients. They offer both coke and Pepsi products. (I love Pepsi☺️) we each got a dessert to go after we ate our lunch. The staff was friendly and on point. You could tell this was a family restaurant. They even have shelves with products/ingredients that appear to be from Italy, fresh deli meats and cheeses. We both enjoyed this experience and plan to return again.
