Alas this restaurant has changed in the quality of the food. I visited this place once and liked it and now I decided to visit it again. Unfortunately, the food disappointed me. For £75, for 2 persons I ordered 2 salads, 1 ciabata, 2 lasagne and 2 drinks. Well, the salad from the word go was absolutely nothing. Just sliced tomatoes and didn’t even remove the back of the tomatoes, just sliced mozzarella cheese and put coriander on top and drizzled with oil. No flavour, no smell. The tomatoes are rubbery, tasteless and the dish costs £16 for a second. Ciabatta. I don’t know what it is at all. The chef decided to just cut 2 pieces of bread without frying it and just poured oil on top and threw on diced tomatoes and onions. Unleavened, no salt and no flavour. The bread had no flavour at all. It was not crispy and toasted and the amount for this very “tasty” dish took a decent amount, also about 16 pounds. Lasagne. Well, it is still more or less tasty, but again, very liquid dish. Too much gravy. I’ve had real Italian lasagne so I can compare. The drinks, of course, leave a lot to be desired. The mojito had a lot of ice and 1 slice of Lime and 1 small bunch of mint. Really? The most basic drink and alas, it was sad to drink. The second drink my wife didn’t even finish it as it was just tasteless. Apart from the bright red colour, there’s nothing interesting about it. No taste, no smell. Very disappointed with this restaurant. After the restaurant I went with my wife to Starbucks where they were able to drink a tasty drink and eat a tasty bun. I really enjoyed the service from Elise and the overall atmosphere — everything felt pleasant and welcoming. The only disappointment was the tomato bruschetta: it had unusually large pieces of onion, which dominated the flavour and even masked the taste of the fresh basil. And that’s coming from someone who actually likes onions! Still, overall, I left with a positive impression. Thanks

Food was a bit mixed, couple of nice starters, one nice main, but rest were meh, with pasta overcooked and sauce a little on the thin side. Some of the staff were great, having to deal with a very lairy group of lasses (we did get wrong drinks sent out by bar staff, but server apologised and sorted quickly)
A chain is never going to be great, but food didn’t seem up to when we last went a couple of years ago, but prices have risen.

Enjoyed a lovely Friday evening here. Nice relaxed atmosphere, decent quality food & definitely cannot complain with the nhs discount.

Food was ok overall. The pasta was a little overcooked for my liking and the carbonara was on the bland side, but it’s about what you’d expect for the price point and for a chain restaurant.
The service, however, was excellent. Our server Jenna was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and served us with a constant smile. She really stood out and deserves recognition as a fantastic server.

Wednesday in Half term everywhere packed but here. Last resort. Been to other in the chain. Ok ish before. Not this time. Warned no pizza. We had 2 pasta dishes and a burger. Took some time, which if it had been good would not have mattered. 2 x pasta dishes out 12 minutes before burger dish. My pasta was on cold plate and not even half way warm. I thought perhaps it was ice cold because of waiting for the burger dish.
Asked them to warm it. It was steaming slightly when it came back 8 minutes later but still cold in the middle. My mate had a different pasta dish which was cold but he was hungry.
I left mine as really not a cold pasta fan. Burger small. Pasta dishes on small side.
To be fair they refunded the cost of my dish. But I had nothing to eat.
Service a little all over tha place. Asked for bill several times. £50 for 2 meals and 3 soft drinks. Disappointed.
Waiter apologetic and looked like he had gone through The Talk with a lot of customers.
Paid the bill we had. No tip obviously.
Warm the plates meals go out on is a basic.
Make sure all dishes go out at same time.
Understand how cold food tastes and don’t serve it.

Had an amazing meal out! Our server, Roman, was absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, chatty, and perfectly on point with everything. Me and my boyfriend were the last ones in there, but he still made us feel totally welcome and never rushed. The food was 10/10, genuinely amazing from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Honestly, Roman deserves so much more credit, he really made the whole experience special. Highly recommend!

Asked for camembert on pizza special which they didn’t offer on the menu but the chef said they’d do it for me, was very lovely. Also lovely staff too, great atmosphere, had a lovely time 🙂

All in all a bit of a disappointing visit as lots of the menu wasn’t available.
Though our Server Rowan was exceptional, providing alternatives when our choices were not available, ensuring we were well looked after and being an excellent ambassador of the company.
We hope Rowan gets some recognition for his hard work and for improving our visit with his fantastic personality.
