Visited on a Friday around 6:30PM. No line, or wait and we were seated quickly. The menu is small but the food is phenomenal. Entrees seemed to run between $18-30 a plate. The bread and garlic butter was outstanding. The balsamic vinegar was some of the best I’ve had. We ordered the butternut squash ravioli and the tortellini with prosciutto. Both dishes were delicious. The staff was polite and adequately attentive.

The service was excellent, we showed up early, not expecting to get a table, but our table was available. The wine, appetizers, soup and the main entrée was all very delicious, and the portions are definitely good size. Definitely a must try!!

This place deserves more recognition. It’s ridiculous that on a Friday night, Olive Garden will have a long waitlist while a local authentic Italian restaurant has several open tables. Bella Italia serves the BEST Italian food in town, provides a nice wine selection, and offers a high-end ambiance. Next time you’re wanting pasta in the Tri-Cities, get a taste of this.

Avoid: Disappointing Service & Misleading Menu
I would not recommend this restaurant. The experience was a series of frustrations from start to finish:
• Misleading Menu: The options in-house are very limited and completely different from what they advertise online.
• Service Gaps: We were never even asked for drink orders. While the waitress was kind, a major communication barrier led to constant misunderstandings.
• Zero Flexibility: Salads come with a “predetermined” dressing—no other options or choices provided.
• Lack of Transparency: They failed to mention the meatballs are a pork/beef mix until it was too late, which caused issues for our table.
• Poor Value & Forced Gratuity: The food quality is mediocre at best and not worth the price. To make matters worse, they automatically added an 18% tip to the bill. Given the level of service, this was completely inappropriate, and we certainly would not have chosen to tip that amount.
Pro Tip: If you have a group larger than 4-5 people, don’t bother. They aren’t equipped to handle parties of that size. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The food was amazing. Our waitress wasn’t rude my any means but she was very busy and a little agitated. It was beautiful in the restaurant but it was a little crowded so I do suggest making a reservation because they have a separate room for that and it wasn’t as crowded in there.

1 Star — Terrible Experience at Bella Italia (Kennewick, WA)
I went to Bella Italia with my brother and it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We ordered spaghetti with chicken cutlets, but when the food came out, the plates were dirty and the meal tasted awful. The chicken didn’t even taste like chicken — it had a strange fishy flavor.
When our server asked how everything was, we were honest and said the food didn’t taste good. She brought over the owner, and instead of trying to make things right, they were extremely rude and refused to offer any kind of refund or solution.
To make things worse, the bill came out to around $110 for two plates of pasta, which is ridiculous for the quality we received.
Beware of this place — I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

At Bella Italia is such a gem. The food is so good and the ambiance is perfect for date night or couple of friends want to enjoy some exceptional wine. Our food was out of world good and our hostess was very knowledgeable of the wine selection, preparation of food, variety of pastas. She was truly amazing. We love going there because they treat us like family.

Authentic and fantastic pasta. Not too.
rich except for the tiramisu. Ravioli, fettuccini, chicken cutlet and apps delicious. The fresh bread and garlic butter is to die for. Super cute place, cozy and comfortable. Strongly recommend and can’t wait to go again.

My family and I we’re attending a dinner reservation for my grandfather’s birthday 10 minutes in to dinner we received our appetizer and upon picking up the bread we discovered a bug crawling out of the bread. When we notified the staff and informed them to cancel the reservation and that we we’re leaving we had been there for a matter of maybe 15 minutes total taken a few bites of the infested bread and a couple sips of our drinks. During the process of us leaving the establishment the staff intended to stop us from leaving to wait for a check for the drinks. It looks like a very nice establishment but has terrible customer and an hazardous kitchen.
