Todd the owner/chef has created a dining destiny! There is a difference between cooking & cooking with passion & love; and that’s what he does! The restaurant is housed in one of the beautiful old buildings on Washington St! You can’t get this environment in very many places. The exposed brick walls are beautiful & provides an intimate setting. The beautiful piano music makes your dining experience so relaxing that you feel like you are transported to a small Italian restaurant in Italy. We started with the Stuffed Mushrooms; I knew when I took my first bite it was not going to be just a nice lunch but an exceptional dining experiences to all of my senses! Our entrees were the Shrimp Scampi & the Tortellini Ala Casa, followed by a cannolis! This is like no other Italian Restaurant in not just Vicksburg but most likely in the state! I have had Shrimp Scampi At so many other places. This is like heaven exploding in your mouth where you literally have to close your eyes to have every taste sensation open up! This is as I said cooked with love & expertise! My husband had the Tortellini dish mentioned above! Over the top was all he could say! If you want a true Italian experience with food that will blow you away; this is the place! Also would like to add that our waitress Ashlynn was kind, professional & eager to please! She was awesome!

It was my first time dining there and I’m impressed. I ordered the burrata appetizer and it was to die for; so simple but deliciously exquisite. I also ordered the Zuppe Di Pesce. The pasta and seafood were cooked perfectly. The sauce was amazing, too. I ordered a cocktail but I can’t remember what it’s called and it was made well. The bread was fresh and replenished upon request. The salad was bright and refreshing with a vinaigrette that had the perfect amount of bite. We were seated promptly. The server made us feel like we were the only people there although there were quite a few other people also dining. She was patient, knowledgeable, accommodating and extremely kind. I’ll be thinking about everything until I have it again, especially that burrata appetizer. This place is great for a special night out or just for the wonderful food and top notch service. Vicksburg’s lucky to have them.

Amazing dinner at Bella Italia Bistro ✨! The veal piccata and veal forest were cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu with coconut shavings was unforgettable.

Wife has reactions to almost as artificial preservatives, salt, msg etc. She had no problem with her meals here. Tells me everything is really fresh and it is delishious. 4 on service but still good.

The ambience was so amazing but not as amazing as the food. The food was absolutely delicious, and surprisingly not as expensive as you would think. My husband and I ordered an appetizer, two entree’s, a dessert, and each had a drink and the bill was under 100$. Our waitress was so sweet and great at recommending us, she also checked in with us very often and made sure our drinks were never empty.

I have absolutely no complaints about this fairly new restaurant, just applause. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The service was impeccable and the decor and music and overall atmosphere was very relaxing. I had the chicken alfredo flatbread and hubby had chicken Alfredo. He loved the salad. If we lived here we would be repeat customers.

This is the second time we have had dinner at Bella Italia! I really didn’t think they could have exceeded my first impression but they did, which was pretty hard to do since my first visit was perfect!!
Bella Italia is family owned and we actually felt like we were invited into their family!
I have traveled to all the states and do my very best to find the best restaurants. I love to cook and eat exceptional Italian food but I do tend to be a bit judgy when it comes to certain details. Bella Italia exceeded all my expectations. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection! The sauce was just spicy enough and it was reduced to a perfect, thicker consistency! We have loved every thing we have ordered!
One of the owners took the time to come out of the kitchen and visit with customers. He was a very nice guy, passionate about his cooking and sincerely concerned about making his customers happy!
You can tell he loves to cook and knows what it takes to make excellent Italian food!
This is our favorite restaurant in all of Mississippi!!!

This place has impeccable ambience, soft jazz with a virtual tour of Italy to keep you in the mood and the food is all the more delectable. Warm bread, and salad greet you in timing with the main course so that you have time to enjoy the scrumptious oversized portion, and if you are a seafood lover, you are in for a treat. BRAVO!

The portions are fabulous. We’ve never left a restaurant with so many to go boxes. Food quality and presentation is fabulous as well. Everything was cooked and flavored perfectly. The shrimp scampi, Cajun pasta, and tiramisu are calling us back already, and we haven’t even made it home yet. Chef’s kiss!!
