Heard about this restaurant from a local community group. Visited for my partners birthday and we absolutely loved it.
Brilliant vibe inside, attentive staff. Excellent menu choice. We’re not huge eaters and each went for a drink & a main course – the food was incredible. So fresh, hot, flavoursome with generous portions.
We couldn’t managed dessert & there was no pressure to do so. Though again the dessert menu looked delicious.
We would 100% recommend Bella Ciao to anyone local or visiting. We will definitely be back!

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was good enough, and the waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a good evening. I would eat here every day if it wasn’t 3 hours driving away from my house. I’ll be definitely back.

We were looking forward to Bella Ciao after reading the good reviews, however the experience was poor at best. When we arrived we were told that they were busy and only two chefs so would be a long wait, we agreed to stay as we had travelled a bit and the weather was bad. Unfortunately things got worse after this when we were told there was no risotto or Pizza, not good with teenagers and our starters did not turn up at the same time, I had finished mine before others came, after a reminder. The main courses were of very poor quality, the chicken dish was very small and the pasta dishes tasted like out of a jar. On a positive note the atmosphere, front staff were nice, but without good food and consistent food service that doesn’t help. Maybe it was a one off night issue, but maybe not, I would not go back unfortunately.

One of our favourite restaurants. The chef takes pride in his work. Amazing flavours beautifully presented. The waitress is really attentive and kind. Good quality food at reasonable prices.

Fantastic service, very friendly staff, very efficient very helpful.
Beautiful atmosphere and deco.
Food was absolutely fabulous.
My only complaint was I didn’t have my portabello mushroom with my steak.
Apart from that all the food we ordered was impeccable.
Ideal for a romantic dinner.
To take anyone you’d like to impress.
Money wise it’s not cheap, but you pay for what you get don’t you.
I thought it was very reasonable for the extremely high quality of food received.
Highly recommend a visit, guarantee you’ll re visit.

Food was awful. We waited nearly 2 hours for food and it wasnt busy. We ordered 3 mains all of which weren’t available even the dough!!! So no pizza, no garlic bread, no rice balls. The only thing going for them was the girls waiting on us. They got the brunt of all the complaints. My risotto was gritty, like the mushrooms hadnt been washed. And we were still hit with a £60 bill. Absolutely awful!

Food was great, limited options for vegetarian folks but was not disappointed with choices we made. Service was slow probably due to rush hour and holiday season could potentially improve on that a bit.

Had a booking for 8pm on a Saturday, we were seated and ordered our drinks. After 20 minutes we were asked what we would like to eat, the first of our booking asked for calzone to which the waitress informed us they had run out of dough. She then went on to tell us they had also run out of mince, fish, chips, and steak. An Italian running out of dough and mince, and the reason we were given is because they had over booked and we were the last table. We wouldn’t have ordered £60 worth of drinks if we knew there was no food to order! A courtesy call at least to let us know before we turned up would have been the professional thing to do. Feel very sorry for the waitress who was left to deal with this as she was lovely. Ended up leaving and going to Tesco to get our dinner.

Amazing service and food by Tori and Matt.

4 of us visited midweek (Pre-booked) and downstairs was full on arrival.

Tori font of house welcomed us and informed us they were short staffed tonight so apologised and said there will be some delays but thet are working as fast as they can. We were fine and in no rush anyhow.

However we found the service time and food arrival to be fine so we had no issues.

The quality of the food was amazing and considering they were short staffed this did not reflect on it at all.

All 4 of us had amazing food and one of our more particular eaters polished his plate off.

Wine was great and the whole evening was fantastic.

It’s one of those places you will definitely return to as they menu variations have more than enough choice to make you want to try the rest of the food.

A great little gem in Port Talbot that you must try
