The atmosphere is always electric, but if you really want the full experience, go on a Tuesday or Sunday night, that’s when the live music takes over. Sunday nights especially are on another level… pure joy, wine, and rhythm!
If it’s your birthday, do yourself a favor and tell them. The staff will sing and dance for you, and it’s honestly one of the most fun birthday surprises you can get at a restaurant.
The food? Consistently good. Whether you’re craving pizza, hearty platters, fresh salads, or something lighter, they’ve got you covered. And now they’ve even added sushi to the menu! A surprising twist, but a delicious one! The variety makes it easy to find something for everyone.
Overall, it’s a place with a perfect mix of good food, great vibes, and genuine fun. A true “wine and dance till you drop” kind of place. Highly recommended!
The food was outstanding. Some of the best seafood I’ve had anywhere—perfectly prepared and clearly high quality. The drinks were just as impressive. These aren’t bartenders, they’re full-on mixologists. My wife’s lemon drop martini was excellent, and i dont remember the name of my drink but was just as delicious.
Yes, it’s a bit pricey ($120 usd for 2 drinks, one appetizer and one entre. Gratuity included), but the quality, atmosphere, and service was worth it…maybe. No complaints at all. We didn’t even have a reservation on a major holiday and were still treated wonderfully.
Five out of five stars. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d strongly recommend this as a must-do for anyone visiting Accra.
In my experience, customer service can sometimes be lacking in general in Ghana, but that was absolutely not the case with Alex Yeboah. I was served by him, and his customer service was the best I experienced in Ghana. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
Because of him, I decided to return in December, and I am so glad I did. Everything was just as amazing, but the service was even better. His consistency truly stood out to me.
Because of my experiences with Alex, I have confidently recommended both him and the restaurant to others. Over 20 friends and associates whom I referred have shared the same positive feedback.
Alex is truly a great asset to this restaurant.
I would point out that there is much room for improvement in the interior. The blades of the ceiling fans looked quite unclean and the seats were not very neat. The throw pillows covered in kente need a good wash. Such seemingly little details must be paid some attention.
Good experience in general
Then came the management, Florida made our visit an experience that will keep us going back , if customer service had a physical description it would be her , we went in for lunch and came back for the new years eve soiree after she’s welcomed us and made sure our visit was aces , and I tell you, it was all a VIP experience.
I could rant all-day but Bella Afrik is a must visit bucket list place if you’re in Accra.
The atmosphere was electrifying and there was a good mix of nice clientele.
Cocktails served at the bar had a good variety.
I’m certainly coming back.
First of all, I want to say that i hope this review won’t cause issues to the staff from Ghana. They were kind to us and seemed to be doing their best. However, we were quite shocked when they told us that their salaries are only around 100 something dollars per month. Considering the prices in this restaurant (pizzas range from about 18 to 46 euros) and the fact that the place is supposedly owned by a foreigner, we would expect the staff to be paid much better.
We asked if we could order a half-and-half pizza, and we were told yes, without any additional explanation about the pricing. Naturally, we expected either to pay half the price of each pizza or simply the full price of the more expensive one.
The pizzas we ordered were:
Pistachio & Mortadella (full price 330)
Speck & Mascarpone (full price 320)
Pistachio & Mortadella:
This pizza was supposed to come with stracciatella, but it didn’t. I also didn’t really taste any pistachio cream, although I didn’t mention that at the time. We only asked about the missing stracciatella after each of us had already eaten a slice. The waiter told us they didn’t have it. Considering that stracciatella is one of the main ingredients and one of the reasons we ordered this pizza (and something that normally costs 100 GHC extra if added separately), we would have expected to be informed about this before the pizza was served.
Speck & Mascarpone:
This pizza was supposed to have crushed nuts, but we didn’t find any. In the photo you can actually see crushed pistachios from the other pizza, not from this one. The waiter initially apologized for the missing ingredient, but later changed the explanation and said that it was actually there, which it clearly wasn’t.
After this experience we decided not to order any more pizzas and planned to eat somewhere else instead.
To make the situation even more confusing, the bill we received was about 460 (around 37 euros). Based on the menu prices, we expected the total to be around 320 plus the obligatory 10% service fee. We were told that because we ordered half-and-half, we had to pay the price of the more expensive pizza combination.
This was confusing because:
We were never informed that the price for a half-and-half pizza would be calculated this way.
Both pizzas were missing important ingredients, which normally would justify a lower price.
The waiter apologized for not explaining the pricing earlier and said they had simply forgotten to mention it. At one point they even offered to bring us stracciatella separately, which was strange since we had just been told they didn’t have it. By then it didn’t make much sense anymore.
The whole discussion about the missing ingredients and the bill took around 20 minutes or more. In the end they decided to charge us 320, which we paid.
Overall, it felt like the staff didn’t really know how to handle the situation. The waiter seemed confused by instructions from the kitchen and others. The basic expectation when ordering food in a restaurant is simple: either the dish contains all the ingredients listed on the menu, or the customer is informed in advance if something is missing.
Unfortunately, this experience left us disappointed. We believe that pizzas here are not worth the price.
From the moment we arrived, the waitress welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home . The chill background music set the perfect vibe – not too loud, just enough to keep things lively.
But the real highlight was the stunning beach scene; it was absolutely gorgeous!
Their cocktails were on point too . And even though it was getting a bit late, the swimming was warm and super fun .
Would definitely come back!
