We returned for our 7th anniversary. Food and service were amazing. We especially enjoyed chatting with Rose and she took very good care of us. All the food was cooked really well and had lots of unique flavors.

This isn’t our first visit to Belford’s in Savannah, Georgia. We ate here about 15 years ago. Our first visits was so special so when we were traveling back through the area we decided to get reservations again. Both trips I had the same dish, Shrimp Greens and Grits. Both times it was very good. We must have caught the staff on an off night this visit, they seems distracted but still the service, food and atmosphere were very good. Prices are reasonable, the cocktail, beer and wine selections are also very nice. The location is great.

We were greeted at the door by a lovely hosting crew and shown to a table very quickly. Our server was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. The food was both prompt and delectable, I have never had such a delicious hollandaise.

I’d love to show you how incredible the food looked at Belford’s, but I lacked the basic human restraint required to take a photo before eating… I devoured everything in sight
– She Crab Soup: I considered licking the bowl.
– Jumbo Lump Crab Cake: Holly crab…. 100% crab, 0% crap.
– Fish & Chips: Flaky, crispy Cod, and currently… a happy memory.

We had a great experience. The smoked halibut dip is a definite must. The server was very pleasanr and knowledgeable on gluten free alternatives . I enjoyed the salmon with gouda grits, and it was cooked perfectly. Conveniently located and definitely worth a visit when in Savannah.

This place is not worth it. Will not be coming back. The quality of food was not worth the price. It took a very long time for the waiter to get our order so the service was 2/5. The drinks were also a 2/5. The snapper was good 4/5 but only came with veggies no real sides. The short rib was $52 and very underwhelming 1/5. Then I found a hair on my plate after eating the food. I have braids so I’m 100% sure it wasn’t my hair.

We ate at this restaurant for our birthdays. We were in town from Arlington, TX. I really enjoyed my food and my husband enjoyed his food as well. Whenever I’m back in Savannah, I will definitely visit your restaurant again!

given the price on the menu, you would think the food would be better. I’ve eaten it a lot of steak restaurants, and this was terribly underwhelming. My strip looks good in the picture, but the consistency of the cook through the steak was different from end to end. My cocktail, I had an old fashion with straight bourbon. Even though I like bourbon, it was missing syrup bitters and had very little flavor to it.
My wife salad had an awkward taste to it as well. The onion straws on top of an arugula salad were not the right mix.
if I am ever back in town, I would not visit this place. But I will say the location is pretty cool.
