Beirut Bites is hands down the best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve tried in Washington. The food is incredibly authentic and full of flavor. We ordered a mixed plate with hummus, fattoush, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, tawook, kafta, rice, fries, and moutabel—and every single item was amazing. The hummus was creamy and fresh, the fattoush was crisp and perfectly dressed, and the meats were tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. Everything tasted freshly made, and the overall experience was just excellent. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly and professional. If you’re looking for real Mediterranean food done right, Beirut Bites is the place to go.

Beirut Bites truly stands out as one of the top Mediterranean restaurants in Washington. From the moment the food arrived, you could tell it was made with care and real attention to detail. We went for the mixed platter—hummus, fattoush, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, tawook, kafta, rice, fries, and moutabel—and every component delivered on flavor.
The hummus was rich and velvety, the fattoush fresh with the perfect crunch, and the meats were grilled beautifully—juicy, well-marinated, and full of bold seasoning. Nothing felt rushed or generic. You can genuinely feel the authenticity in the recipes and preparation. It tastes like food made the right way.
Beyond the food, the ambiance is inviting and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable dining experience. The team is attentive, courteous, and professional, which makes the visit even better.
A place like this is rare—somewhere you don’t just enjoy a meal, but connect with the taste and tradition behind it. Keep up the amazing work, the quality, and the authenticity. Beirut Bites is absolutely worth trying—and easy to fall in love with.

Hands down the best Mediterranean restaurant in U.P.. The owner is super sweet and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The food is absolutely bomb. The lamb is insanely tender and cooked perfectly, and every appetizer is packed with so much flavor. The homemade hummus is a must stop, creamy, fresh, and addictive. If you’re in University Place and craving Mediterranean food, Beirut Bites Mediterranean Restaurant needs to be at the top of your list.

Super tasty food, reminds us of home. Taste is very authentic to the source, as much as it can be in the U.S.
The staff were super nice, professional, welcoming, always happy to help. We had a blast interacting with them.
This is hands down one of the best Mediterranean restaurants we tried in Washington State.

My wife found this online, I was more than impressed with the food, I am a huge foodie! Great atmosphere!
I didn’t taste one thing I didn’t enjoy from the Shwarma to the rice or sauces! I have never had a Spanikopta that tasty! Never liked Hummus probably because of store bought, it was amazing also!

I had such a wonderful experience at Beirut Bites today! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was transported straight to Beirut, the atmosphere is warm, authentic, and beautifully designed. The staff was amazing friendly, always smiling, and attentive without being intrusive.
I tried the chicken with rice and the hummus, and every bite was incredible. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, the rice was fragrant and seasoned just right, and the hummus was smooth, creamy, and fresh — truly delicious. Every dish felt made with care and high-quality ingredients.
Everything about this place feels clean, vibrant, and welcoming. I can’t wait to stop by again soon!

We were in the area and Beirut Bites popped up as the best lunch around, so we gave it a shot. The quality and flavor of the food was exceptional, and the plates were generous. We had a toddler with us and they were very friendly and accommodating. I recommend getting a few main plates to share so you can try a bit of everything! And don’t skip the baklava, it is the perfect way to end the meal. We even got an extra slice to go!

I visited this spot with a friend for lunch right when they opened, and it wasn’t crowded. The atmosphere was simple yet pleasant, and the service was impressively fast. We ordered the chicken shawarma spread and the Odyssey (gyro meat). Each entrée came with rice, salad, hummus, and pita bread.
The food arrived warm and fresh in about 15 minutes. The salad was crisp and refreshing, while the chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a subtle citrus finish. The rice was flavorful and paired beautifully with the chicken. The hummus was well-prepared and served at room temperature, and the pita was good though not particularly memorable. The gyro was also delicious and full of flavor.
Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’d happily return.

The food was really very delicious. The falafel was moist, the mint and cardamom tea was delicious, everything was well seasoned. I did find it expensive, but if price is a concern it can be managed by selecting the sandwiches instead of the platters ‘ they are also delicious, and a better value. The service was kind and prompt.
