My son took me to this restaurant, one of his new favorites in West LA. It’s tucked inside a quiet residential area in Venice, which gives it a very cozy neighborhood feel. The restaurant has indoor seating and a nice bar, but my son requested outdoor seating, which turned out to be really special. On a cool night like last night, the portable heaters made it perfectly comfortable.

We started with the Grilled Octopus and the Arugula Salad—both were excellent, and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients right away. Then we had the Mushroom Pizza, which was absolutely delicious; the crust was the perfect balance of tender and crispy. For our main course, we shared the pan-fried red snapper with pesto and the lemon pasta. Both dishes were outstanding.

We ended with the Strawberry Sundae. It was simple—just ice cream, fresh strawberries, and fresh cream—but still enjoyable. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the evening.

Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and would happily return.

Absolutely incredible! We sat out on the patio, it was so idyllic, and the weather was perfect, our table had a view of a rustic olive tree there are heaters on the patio! the sky was gorgeous as the sun was setting. Food was really amazing. Had a lovely time. Highly recommend!! Lemon pasta, hanger steak, and delicata rings were Price is surprisingly very affordable for a restaurant this delicious, atmospheric, and trendy!!!

Everyone knows it’s virtually impossible to find a restaurant in LA that delivers on good vibes *and* good food, but Beethoven did it! Huge.

We arrived early and they sat us no problem in the patio. We ordered multiple times, and no one ever demanded we hand over our menus or order all at once, or any of the weird mishegoss that has become standard in this stupid town.

Waiters were helpful and not overbearing, the food was great, not overpriced, and the parking was easy. What more could you ask for?

Food: DON’T U DARE SKIP THE FOCACCIA.

The meatballs were a tad dry, but everything else was excellent. Loved the squash blossoms, the cacio e pepe, and the pork collar was divine. The persimmon cake was HEAAAVEN. I had 2 pineapple tepaches but could have had 12. Yes.

Had an amazing pre-show dinner here! The staff was wonderful—our waiter expedited our order so we could make our curtain time without rushing. The food is top-notch; do yourself a favor and order the Duck Pappardelle. It was the highlight of the meal. Great service and great food!

Beethoven Market in CA is an excellent restaurant. The food was great, and even though we didn’t have a reservation, the host at the front desk was kind enough to seat us and clearly let us know they would need the table by 7:45. They were very respectful about it and never rushed us actually made us feel comfortable enough to order more food.
Robert was also really friendly and took the time to suggest a few nearby places for us to check out since we aren’t locals, which was much appreciated. Overall, great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Dined in for dinner this past Saturday night and I was extremely impressed. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the sleepy Palms neighborhood in the west side of LA. I would describe the menu as Italian mixed with coastal Californian. The interior is designed really well, it’s very bright and open, and you can tell a lot of time was spent on the design and layout. They have many different types of table seating from full table to half to full booth and the tables are not that packed, they are well spaced. Parking in this area is very easy, we found a street spot very close to the front door.

Our server was very friendly and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Most of the things are designed to share, although some of the entrées at the bottom of the menu are more designed for one. The menu has a ton of great options on it so it’s hard to select what we wanted and I already want to come back again to try more. I will list below what we tried:

1. Focaccia : ricotta & avocado tree honey. This is a can’t miss item. It was a great start to the meal and very popular at our table.
2. Fiori di Zucca : crispy zucchini blossoms filled with herbed goat cheese. There was a flavor in here that I did not particularly enjoy, but I think they were cooked perfectly and I overall I would suggest.
3. Caesar Salad. This was a great version, and I loved that it was absolutely covered in cheese.
4. Market Fish (Red Snapper) : tarragon salmoriglio. this was absolutely fantastic. The fish was very crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside. It was very flaky and I just really enjoyed it.
5. Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe : pecorino and Malabar Coast black pepper. A fantastic version. If you were a flavor of this type of pasta, you really have to get it.
6. Roasted Artichokes : lemon and parsley. My favorite side dish that we ordered. It was absolutely fantastic and I could eat a whole jar of these.
7. Grilled Broccolini : calabrian chili and lemon. Also wonderful and I would highly recommend.

In the end, this is a fantastic brunch or dinner option in a part of LA that doesn’t really get a lot of attention. I loved how friendly the staff was, how beautiful the restaurant is, and how delicious the food was so I plan to be back many times in the future.

A perfect restaurant. Spectacular food, incredible service, beautiful interior and patio. They manage to make it feel like a real neighborhood spot even though it’s exploded in popularity recently. We feel so welcomed by the attentive service. Food is delivered immediately and always delicious. The menu changes slightly seasonally. And on top of all this, somehow the prices are extremely reasonable, too?? Can’t say a thing bad about this place, and we keep coming back even though there are so many restaurants in LA to explore.

Wonderful brunch option in the neighborhood, especially on a sunny day. The patio gives great beach club vibes.
Food are delicious.
They don’t serve alcohol at the moment but it might be a great thing.
Highly recommended.

Had a nice date night on the heated patio. I was able to get a Saturday night reservation about a week in advance after placing an alert on Resy.

Service was a bit slow and we sat for about 15 min before anyone even greeted us or brought water. However our main server was fantastic, I think her name was Rikki.

The inside and the patio both had a great vibe. The crowd seemed to be mostly adult families and couples 30+, not rowdy at all so it’s hard to imagine why nearby residents would have a problem with the place.

We enjoyed our meal – the focaccia with ricotta and honey was delicious, and we liked the carrots and the delicata for apps. We loved the aribiata pasta, simple but very flavorful and well done. Surprisingly, we did not like the lemon pasta at all.

Overall, we would certainly return, but with so many similar spots on the west side, I’m not sure this particularly stood out.

This place is always packed… so we decided to give it a try since there were two bar seats available. The service was amazing and our appetizers were phenomenal. The octopus was so soft and tender and paired really well with the vegetables. Our roasted artichokes were buttery and unexpectedly addicting. The carbonara was perfectly seasoned. The reason for four stars is because the pizza was disappointing. The dough texture was not chewy enough and fell apart in your mouth. However the prices here for their pizzas are pretty cheap compared to other upscale restaurants. Maybe it was the caramel onion pizza being too soft, but the whole pizza pretty much fell apart and the bottom of the pizza was mushy.. I would not recommend getting the Onion Pizza… but definitely give this place a try!
