First time trying and booked on a whim as they had some availability on a normally busy night. Restaurant is in a nicely revived old building with tons of charm and great atmosphere. Menu isn’t expansive but both of our meals were delicious. They have 2 different styles of pizza and a variety of different combinations of each. Our server recommended the Hawaiian (on the detroit-style crust menu) but to have it on the Americana-style instead. Great suggestion and it was a perfect combo. I was surprised this place wasn’t busier as the service was efficient, quick, and thorough but a few tables were still empty. Would gladly eat here again.

First time here. A positive experience. A relaxed atmosphere with dim lighting and quiet music playing. Comfortable seating. Clean. Excellent service. Great tasting food:. Flank steak, ( charred briccolini was a treat) hunter chicken, cheese cake and nespresso coffee. The Dave Matthews was tasty. Highly recommend!!

Loved this place! Even though pizza is their specialty, you’ve got to try the scallops and prawns they were amazing. The food was fresh, the vibe was great, and our waitress Tia was just perfect friendly, quick, and super nice. Can’t wait to go back!

This was my first time at Beer Bread, and I will likely not return. Just to be clear, it wasn’t horrible, but the menu is too limited and it was ok food wise. I think I would choose other restaurants in the area before this one. My main issue was lighting. It was dark, too dark for me to read the menu. There should be some light source at the table (this would have helped). I did try to read the menu online, but could not zoom in to actually read it on a phone. Service was the only saving grace, a great server made sure we were hydrated and satisfied with our meal.

First time at Beer Bread and WOW! It was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary so we made a reservation in advance. Upon arrival, the table was set with a small bouquet of flowers from Chef Alex and staff with a beautiful bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. The starters were delicious (Beer Bread and Buffalo Chicken Dip) followed by the Detroit style Pepperoni pizza, Mustang pizza, and chocolate dessert. We made the right choice celebrating our anniversary here! Our server Ian was attentive and very on point. Exceptional experience and we will definitely be back!

Been here 2 Sundays in a row and love it. Service is amazing; atmosphere is a great mix of old meets new. Chicago style pizza has the best crispy edge crust and the Tavern style is so thin and crisp. It’s hard to day which I love more. And $12 thundermugs for the win.

This restaurant is attracting some customers I think who remember when the building housed another business and are anxious to see the transformation.
The decor is nice. I will point out the back support on the low chairs was so far back to be useless as in offering no back support.
The whipped ricotta dish was served in a deconstructed way. While good I did feel the cherry tomatoes could have used another slice.
The pepperoni deep dish was good but I felt the sauce was in some places was too heavy and sadly I found the sauce had no character (bland).
The thin Mushroom and arugula was ok but perhaps could have used a bit more of the feature ingredient.
The staff was nice and the service was good.
