This is my favorite bar. Service is always great – Tiffany, one of the bartenders is awesome. The vibe is great, they’ve got 2 pool tables & tons of pinball machines & other games & some outside seating which is nice. The food I’ve tried so far has been delicious – the firecracker chicken is my personal favorite (they’re like southwest egg rolls) but the nachos & pizza are awesome as well.

Was in Monroe for work and went to beeks, senor cactus, and 129 and ended up staying at 129. The two woman who worked that weekend were very nice and bubbly people. Tia was very attentive and on it with service. Beth was very sweet and made awesome drinks! Definitely will be back to see them.

I walked into this one horse town to find a young lady placed there by circumstances beyond her control. I asked for superman shots for women I had accompanied. The bartender didn’t have the shots I asked for. She free handed the shots.. There was no respect for the ingredients she went on to pour a faulty brew of cough syrup garbage. She poured a Concoction that made most of my female friend’s gag.

Be sure to count your $$. Tiffany, the bartender(not waitress, she doesn’t know what that means) tends to help herself to tips. “You didn’t say you wanted ALL your change back”. She’s more interested in her phone. It appears anybody can go behind the bar. She’s argumentive, rude, lazy. But don’t worry, she’s “worked here a long time”. Maybe there’s a problem with management then because she’s costing the bar money and customers.

Ordered: Firecracker chicken(eggrolls). Received: dollar store spring rolls.
No joke. The menu said there was chicken. Peppers. Etc… in a. Egg roll. Not only where there zero peppers. There were carrots(which they maybe thought were peppers?) Carrots weren’t mentioned on menu. And there was nothing firecracker about these. They were 4 small chicken egg rolls. Period. No sauce came with it. Nothing over top of them. NINE dollars.

The taco salad. Honestly it wasn’t bad. Probably pretty good if you’ve knocked back a few drinks. But it’s very plain. Meat. Refried beans. lettuce. Tomatoes cheese. And the shell. Doesn’t seem like there is any seasoning. No special sauce except for sour cream. It’s the basic taco Salad we all enjoy every now and then.
Jalapeño poppers are jalapeño poppers. (Cheddar style). Decent.
Last time I was here my girl and I had a grinder and the taco platter. They were both pretty plain too. Although not bad.
Staff was friendly.
Environment seemed Clean.
Plenty of arcade games to choose from.
Looks like a real fun place to get hammered at night. But don’t come here to just eat.

Best bar in Monroe. Pool tables, arcade games and strong drinks. Stopped in for a few drinks for cinco de mayo and Ashley the bartender gave the best service, things are lookin up here and I’ll be back for sure

Only place in town with so many pinball games. Has pool tables and I believe darts as well. Fun place to hang out and like that you can sit outside. Stiff drinks and friendly staff! 😉

Great DJ on Saturday nights! They have pool, pinball, darts and some other video games. They are connected indoors to Senor Cactus which has Karaoke every Friday & Saturday at 9 P.M.!
