While I rarely rate a bar on their food, it is not lost on me that many bars out there have better than expected food. South Beach in Ocean Beach San Diego for their tacos is one such. I was super appreciative of the tasty burger done to a perfect medium rare request. We also had a cod dish that was done perfectly, moist on the inside. So bravo. First time here and it was delicious! Excellent, friendly service. Daily specials along with a 10 @ $10 menu that makes lunchtime reasonable. We stopped in for Taco Tuesday. 2 tacos(your choice from the menu) with chips and salsa for just $7.99. Perfect portion size and the shrimp tacos were delicious.

Staff was friendly and attentive. I had the Wednesday night special boneless wings sweet this chili and Nashville hot chicken with a side of curly fries. Chicken was a little crisp but very tasty, We will definitely return. Friend has the mild wing basket. It was a hit.

Moved here! Me and my husband love wings! Ordered to go, extra crispy! Soggy and FREEZER BURNED! Put a bad taste and smell in my house. 1 year and 4 months later, ordered the same to go. Freezer burn AGAIN! Stick with the burgers! Only thing I found good there. Service is good. Smiling faces. Need to fix the chicken issues! Go to RamShackle, Cousin Vinny’s for great wings!!

After searching for an available restaurant on Father’s Day we ended at Beef O’Brady’s near our home. My fave is the steak bowl. Excellent as always and dads ate free. Great waitress, Madison N (attentive, polite, and faster than the speed of light). Restaurant is a bit crowded, but the upside to that is you never have to wait for a table.

I’m sorry to report that we were disgusted with the fact food prepped nor cook wore hairnets. The girl putting together food was digging in her ear with her finger and her wild hair was all over the place. Then she continued preping and giving waitresses food. I was so grossed out.

We decided to try the steak dinner. No one ever thinks about eating a steak at a restaurant known for wings and sandwiches. We were very pleasantly surprised! The steak was cooked perfectly as was the rest of our selections. And their beer taps work unlike other local restaurants who can’t seem to get their acts together! Glad we gave them a chance!
