First off, I can see why there were complaints about the service when the post was made on Jefferson Chat On Facebook. My family and I were coming to this establishment at least once a week for months because we truly wanted to support a local business.

Unfortunately, the service has consistently been disappointing. When we sit down, the husband is often sitting at the bar like it’s his living room. There’s no greeting, no acknowledgment, no “hello.” In a small town especially, customer service is extremely important. Making guests feel welcome goes a long way.

It’s frustrating because years ago, when it was Wild Side next door, you couldn’t even find an open seat. Now the place is empty most nights, and sadly, the lack of attentive service seems to be a big part of that.

There have been multiple occasions where we needed drink refills, and even when the husband stepped behind the bar, he didn’t ask if anyone needed anything. At one point, his boys were sitting at the bar and he was very engaged and cheerful with them, while the rest of the restaurant was largely ignored. That kind of selective attention doesn’t make paying customers feel valued.

We truly want local businesses to succeed, but hospitality matters. A warm greeting, basic attentiveness, and simple things like checking on refills make a big difference. Also, please consider turning the heat up — comfort matters too.

Cool place, we came for a late dinner! They had live music and it was a bit loud but we really didn’t feel like going anywhere else after driving 4 hours. Food was good. Atmosphere was a little loud and busy. Would like to try when it’s not so crazy loud and busy!!

Dropped in on a week night whim, and was pleasantly surprised by the festive small town Christmas movie vibes; right down to a game of Christmas music bingo being run by dj big G. I stole several of my son’s fries, and he didn’t complain. Probably because he got a lot of them with his resonably priced kid’s meal. I got a flatbread which was delicious, though chckn seemed to have a tough spot or two. The staff were sweet and checked on us frequently.

Beebe’s Bistro is a culinary haven that seamlessly blends charm and flavor. The ambiance is a delightful sonnet, wrapping patrons in a warm embrace. The menu, an exquisite canvas, features dishes crafted with precision and the finest ingredients, elevating the dining experience.

The staff, akin to courtly minstrels, navigate the dining hall with balletic grace, ensuring each patron is attended to with a touch of old-world charm. The service is as much a part of the experience as the delectable dishes, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone era.

Embarking on a gastronomic journey is akin to stepping into a Renaissance painting—each bite, a stroke of culinary artistry. This establishment beckons those seeking a respite from the ordinary, promising an immersive experience where flavors and ambiance intertwine seamlessly.

With much delight, it is highly recommended!!!

Adorable local bistro with an upbeat friendly atmosphere. We visited during the holidays and the whole place was decorated and festive. The staff and the regulars were all friendly and outgoing, the food was excellent (recommend the steak sandwich!), and the Christmas Ale had an excellent caramel-cinnamon rim. Highly recommend!

My son recently moved out to Jefferson, Ohio and he had yet to visit Beebe’s Bistro. So he recommended that is where we should have our unprompted mini family reunion. It was absolutely wonderful! Beebe’s Bistro is what I call “a do-it-again”! Everything about our dinner was excellent; the service (thank you Taylor for putting up with us! ), the food was outstanding and the atmosphere was such a great venue for a family to visit! I highly recommend Beebe’s Bistro when you visit, or move to, the Jefferson, Ohio area.

Normally I share an empty plate but had to show you the Cubano. And that’s the half order.
It was tremendous and for $10, let’s just say it was fabulous.
The pulled pork, the pickles, the mustard, wow. Just wow.
Bonus! They serve Busch Light in the bottle! Hi-yo!
They serve local liquor from Kevin Suttman’s 7 Brothers Gin, Vodka and Whiskey.
Located in the heart of the county seat of Ashtabula County Jefferson, beautiful decor, they love bees and cows, can’t say enough.
Except, try it for yourself.
Promise, no disappointments here.
Family business and the owner’s daughter, Megan, was our server and host.
Gracious, accommodating, felt at home.

Noticed my post was deleted. 3 of us went in. All meals were sent back. They were bone dry and bland. Borderline overcooked also. Never had dry fries before. And my wings had the skimpiest amount of sauce. Couldn’t taste it. The wings were also very dry inside. I had to rip at them with my teeth.

Great little bistro, in the heart of a small town. Hands down the best foods you can get in the county. Or at least the best turkey sandwich, Which was amazing. Great fries and great soup! Plus a full bar, that never hurts.
