I went for a late lunch early dinner and it was just fantastic! Service with a smile and all our needs catered to. The food was beyond amazing! Loved everything about the experience. It made my birthday so much better. It felt like I was in Manhattan. Just wonderful. Will be making it my little spot!

Well I’m so glad I got the chance to come here with my friends! The atmosphere is always inviting! The vibe is amazing! From the music to the menu!!! Everything is so authentic! The Mac and cheese was seriously way too good! The catfish nuggets were absolutely light and perfectly fried! The seasoning is perfection!! I enjoyed the drinks as well! Everything is made with honey or has some component of honey with it. I can’t wait to go back again. It was absolutely the best time.

My husband took me here for Mother’s Day dinner and it was amazing. The owner herself came around making sure everyone was happy with their meals and making adjustments if needed. I definitely did not need anything changed my meal was perfect.

I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. The atmosphere is cozy but on a regular night, I’m sure it’d be borderline suffocating. I ordered Honey Garlic Wings (1st pic) which was 8 pieces for $15.50. Was kinda expensive since it came with no sides, tasted like straight honey, and had a texture as though they partially cook the chicken in a batch and just reheat it. I also ordered the Honey Siracha fries (2nd pic) which was disappointing since it was just fries with seasoning. It’d be better if they coated it with some type of spicy & sweet dip or put it on the side. My company ordered the lobster Mac & cheese (3rd pic) which was deliciouuus, but the Honey Asian wings just tasted they threw sweet chilli sauce on it. I’m not saying the wings were disgusting, just not as advertised and could’ve been better prepared. I’m curious about how the seafood tastes though so I may come back again. Oh, also most of the dishes come with a flower… don’t eat it .. it’s just for the aesthetic

I almost wrote my review as I was eating but I couldn’t put the fork down we had the fried chicken ( you get two sides) I had collards and Mac and cheese…GREAT!!! The collard’s should be sold world wide. I’m not playing they were something to dream about. Atmosphere was very cozy, although I like to see my food, what I’m eating, could be a bit brighter lighting wise. But I’m not here to talk about anything but food . The drink menu was/is interesting everything sounded great but I don’t drink. I seriously can’t wait to go back. Another Major thing is the kitchen closes around 8:45pm I think our waitress said. So definitely go and get there at a decent time. Food comes out very quick. I’m highly impressed A+ for the tavern ❣️

I celebrated my pre birthday and birthday there and both days the food was AMAZING. Shana the owner is pleasant and friendly and she makes you feel at home. The music set the atmosphere that was so good I didn’t want to leave.

We had to do takeout, because the amount of Lysol sprayed in this place was enough to give a headache, BUT the food was phenomenal (if a little saltier than was tasty).
Eveything is made with honey or royal jelly or bee pollen for some bee-related product, which is clever, and the decor matches.
The collard greens and pulled pork were phenomenal.
Not pictured were the absolutely fantastic (I’m totally doing this myself next time) Sriracha fries, kale salad, and honey-drenched burger!
The chicken had too much salt (burger was quite salty too, but still tasty) and rosemary for me, and the sweet potato fries were kinda meh.
Really enjoyed! Will go again (But order takeout).

I found this place by accident and iam happy i did. It is on the pricey side but well worth it. The Catfish nuggets were AMAZING!!I ordered the smothered chicken and my boyfriend got the classic honey fried chicken with sriracha fries. It was HEAVEN!! had to cancel the rest of my plans cuz im gonna carb crash!! This is true soul food!! Plus our waitress was perfect.

It is a nice intimate atmosphere with a mature adult scene. I was there for a comedy show(Talent). I had a great time. The food is delicious and the drinks are made well too. I will definitely attend another event at this venue.
