Atmosphere: Plenty of parking, plenty of seating options, nice bar/restaurant, decor is really cool
Staff: Bartender was alone as we came in late and he did an amazing job of taking care of us and the bar
Food: BBQ was really tasty, hearty and spiced well.
Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy were delicious.
We got tator tots and beans, overall not impressed. Tots were regular tots, beans were very soft, mushy and drowning in BBQ, not for us.
The brisket wontons had such a nice kick with smokey chunks of meat, I would recommend offering 6 instead of 5.
Bacon deviled eggs were good to try one time. Good concept of adding smokey flavor & bacon but wouldn’t reorder.
Dessert: Bread pudding was a perfect sweet treat.
Cost: Overall little pricy for feeding 4 adults & one child. It was a decent amount of food with a little leftover for just about $180 including tip.

Run don’t walk. This was amazing. Lucas was a great server. We enjoyed every bite. Rib tips, ribs and wings were phenomenal. Every side was better than the next.

After two other disappointments for bbq in Minneapolis I arrived at Beast Bbq. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was quickly greeted by a very nice bar tender who grabbed me a drink and assisted me with my dinner selection. I got the two meat platter with brisket, ribs, beans and coleslaw. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and portions were adequate for the price. Brisket and ribs were good and I didnt care for their sauce but good bbq shouldn’t need sauce. Their meat did not disappoint but beans and coleslaw didn’t have great flavor. I definitely would return for the meat and hospitality from the staff. Overall good BBQ for Minneapolis amd/or Minneapolis definitely will return in the future.

This place is amazing. As a Chicago resident visiting, I found myself in need of something quick while we waited for a relative in the emergency room in a nearby hospital. We looked and looked and this came up and without knowing much we walked in. The waitress gave us amazing customer service. The food was great. Their mash and Mac and cheese were delicious and the Texas toast, just a great compliment. I wasn’t a big fan of the wings but overall still a great side. The Sassy Beast bbq sauce was perfect. Overall I had such a great first impression. We won’t be back anytime soon since we aren’t locals but i definitely recommend it.

Our server was awesome, but the food was just bad. Id give the FOH staff a 5 star, but we ordered a LOT of food and it was all pretty terrible. Ribs were super dry, flavor was ok. Smoked chicken was dry enough that it could have been kindling for a bonfire. Baked beans were good, Mac and cheese was actually really good, brisket was ok. Potato salad was average, pork candy was terrible. Again, dry even with a sauce on it and big chunks of bone/cartilage in a lot of the pieces. I was expecting melt in your mouth pork belly or something akin to it, definitely not what it turned out to be. Brisket wontons were also alright, whatever that corn premium side was turned out to essentially be a bland corn salsa. All in all we tried a pretty huge spread and it was almost 180 dollars after tip for two people, and I can’t recommend any of the food really. Maybe it was an off day for them but it was a Saturday night during dinner time, full bar but only two tables of people. Maybe there’s a reason for that ♂️

This place is beautiful and not snotty like a lot of Minneapolis restaurants. I ordered the one meat platter with a side of barbecue fries. The ribs were amazing and the sauces are not comparable to anything I’ve had before. They’re spicy, but not burn your face off spicy. I had my Oder to go which came out quickly. As I was waiting I went downstairs to check out the room. I really hope the owner of this establishment has bands down there. As a musician myself, it’s the exact kind of room I loved to play in back when I played. Not fancy, just a cool intimate wide open room…perfect.
Back to the food. My bill came to $22 and some odd cents. It was well worth the money I paid. Kudos to your awesome place and your more awesome food. I’ll be back. I wish you sold your sauce to go. Yum!!!!

THE BEST BRISKET THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN!!!! The crust was thick and full of flavor. You could cut it with a fork and it was entirely juicy. This pit master needs to enter some competitions. Also MUST have the brussel sprouts.

I love this place. Their barbecue is on point every time. They have 3 different barbecue sauces you can try at your table. Service is fast and friendly. Their bbq fries are delicious, and I especially love their pork ribs. Very tender and flavorful. Their Texas toast garlic butter bread was amazing.
