Not impressed….really came into this place expecting some really good BBQ and good service. Unfortunately, I didnt get either one. Walked in and didnt know if we needed to be seated or if we picked a seat. The bar tenders looked at us a few times but didnt help. Ordered food online off their menu since thats the only way to get food. The pulled pork was very salty. I can honestly say I VERY rarely turn down pulled pork but, this was one of those times. The coleslaw was very sour and wasn’t good at all. The mac and cheese was very bland and was cold. The bread was very dry and I believe stale. The portions were small and id say the only thing that was decent on the plate was the pickles. I was very disappointed about the food and when I went to get a beer, standing at the bar isn’t a sign if you want one, I guess. I got ignored and just gave up.

We’ve been to 3-4 other bbq spots around town this year and this is the first one I wanna come back to. Friendly counter service and tasty food. Brisket, pulled pork, and chicken skewers were all flavorful and cooked well. All of the sauces we tried were great (amazing housemade ranch for the side salad btw). I really liked the deviled egg potato salad and mac and cheese. I loved that the cornbread portions were generous, buttered, and toasted to get crispy edges. Yum. The pickles were also very good. I’ll be back to try the wings later this week.

Overall I wanted this place to be good. The mac and cheese is just frozen mac with poblano pepper in it. The brisket was old , covered in sauce to make up for it. Pork belly was under done. The wings was the best thing but still not good. None of the sauce had any real flavor. Everything was hot and fresh atleast. The cocktails lack any creativity and use store bought simple syrup and the bartender didn’t even mix the drinks, just dumped everything in a cup. I expected alot more from this place.

Absolutely loved this place! The smoked chicken wings were phenomenal – juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The ambience was great, and they have a lovely patio where you can chill with friends. Perfect spot for good food and good vibes. Will definitely be coming back!

Great BBQ! Had two specialty sliders (brisket and pork belly), along with a BLT Salad. Everything was great. Veggies were crisp and fresh. Quality buns. Sauces were good. Will stop here when driving through the Cincinnati/Newport area next…

Best barbeque I’ve had in a long time. A must try is definitely the brisket and the mac and cheese! The andouille sausage is served with house made mustard sauce. If you like vinegar you’ll love it. The cornbread was moist and drizzled with composite butter.

The food was really good. I liked the pulled pork. The chicken I felt was a little undercooked or it just needed another minute. The service was not great. I should say they pretend to have service without actually having it. They had two bartenders neither one could take your food order. One bartender was on their phone trying to place bets on the sports game that was going on. I saw two people tried to order and walk away after not getting any service. They expect you to do everything – put in the food go get your food bring your plates back to the bartender. And they still want a tip. No, not If I’m doing the all work I’m keeping the tip.
