The bearded monkey pool hall/bar is a pretty nice place. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and they have reasonable prices. My friend and I went there today for lunch and we both had more or less the same comments. They have bar food and it’s quality bar food. I had the burger pictured and my friend the pizza. Both meals were good but not the best in town. They were far above any fast food but there are better options in town for both the burger and the pizza. What I’m saying is that while I probably wouldn’t come here specifically for the food, if I was already here and got hungry, I wouldn’t be disappointed with what I had.

This is the best burgers in town. The burger is real beef, seasoned to perfection, bacon was on top and bottom!!! The fries were hot, crunch, seasoned and regular size can feed 2 people. I saw this place on Facebook, and decided to give it a try. YOU MUST TRY IT OUT! Also, there are about 8 pool tables.

Was there today 8-12-23 at 12 noon to about 1:00. Great service, great food. The two ladies who waited on us were so nice and polite. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Food was hot and delicious.

Our overall experience was good, the burgers were made with fresh ingredients and the service was great but a little slow (lunch). The atmosphere was laid back which was nice. I would recommend Bearded Monkey if you’re looking for a place to grab a beer and burger in Forney.
