Beard Brothers BBQ (BBBBQ?) is a true gem hidden in quaint little Amherst. They are a counter service BBQ joint that are co-located with an amazing boutique pub called The Local Goat company. The food is crafted with an obvious passion that shines through at all levels. The food is fresh and made to order. You don’t need to fret and wonder if your BBQ has been languishing away in a steam pan, it comes out fresh and full of flavor. Such quality does take time, you can expect a 30+ minutes wait during busy times. It’s worth it. Grab a craft cocktail or local beer at the bar and sit watch the Tomorrow River flow on by. The prices are in line or slightly below what you would expect to pay for quality BBQ, I certainly found it to be a good value. Just like the Terminator, I’ll be back!

A wonder of Northern Wisconsin. Food and sauces are all made by the brothers as well as smoked by them. If you are even within a trip from a tank full, go there. Superb melt in your mouth Brisket and Corn bread and some of the best poutine since Canada.

I have been to Beard Bros BBQ twice now. Both times have been wonderful, great attentive service. Wonderful food. Food comes out quickly and hot- great flavor. The bar has a large variety of wines, beers, NA options. Highly recommend!

We had such a great time at the annual bash! Had the best ribs we’ve had in WI, the sides were really good too, loved the it sauces. Service was prompt, everyone was really friendly and you can’t beat eating outside with such a lovely view!

Beard brothers are not ready for prime time. Need to figure out how to actually have available the items on their menu. Don’t yet know how to take orders or take payment. I have concerns about their ability to provide any service in a reasonable amount of time.

The food is amazing! The ribs were juicy and fall off the bone. The BBB – bacon, brisket & burger had great flavor and the pork rind nachos (we didn’t eat) looked amazing and was a hug portion! A great spot to check out and all the beer and liquor are local.
