We are a full service sit down cafe with a heavy emphasis on high-quality, fresh breakfast and lunch options. In addition to our cuisine, we carry a unique array of sustainable coffee from Panther Coffee, and a wide variety of loose-leaf teas and house-made bottled beverages. Our menu is divided into a Good Cat section, which offers lighter fare, and a Bad Cat section that features more hearty, indulgent dishes. We always maintain a variety of Vegetarian, Vegan, Paleo, and Gluten Free choices among our selections. Bearcat Cafe tries to cater to each and every one of our patrons to the best of our abilities.

I went based on reviews. Wait time maybe 35 minutes around 1245 on a Sunday. Service was good gratitity is automatically 20% plus a 2% care team fee. I ordered the Bearcat breakfast with pancakes. Eggs potatoes bacon and pancakes.. basic breakfast. It was decent nothing special the potatoes were tossed and roasted in rosemary or thyme. They were good. My son ordered the banana foster pancakes he appeared to enjoy them. They were topped with pecans and of course a banana cream butter and syrup concoction. My sister order the burger it looked good. Two meat patties lettuce tomatoes cheese on a bun but not a regular non l bun! Also served with those special potatoes. Overall decent experience.

We went to this location for my brother’s birthday and it was phenomenal. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful, the service was quick, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We were also gifted a free bottle of fresh orange juice that was delicious. The *only* complaint I have is that the wait was pretty long and the bench they had outside for seated waiting was wet and they didn’t offer any towels or anything to wipe it down so people could sit.

We sat outside. The menu is great and our server was great. I would suggest if you want multi items I would split. We ordered the crab dip.. wonderful! Blueberry pancakes, salmon, crayfish gravy biscuit, crab omelet, cat mamma, scallops and oyster grits. And the drinks were great.. fresh squeeze juice mimosas!

A friend recommended we come here and glad we did! A parking lot is on the corner. You sign in at the kiosk outside the front door and wait to be called in for your table. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The sausage is bison, eggs are cooked to order, and pancakes were light and fluffy, mine had the addition of blue berries. Great experience.

This is an amazing place to get breakfast, brunch, or lunch, as they close earlier than other places. Their prices are a bit higher than other restaurants, but you get what you pay for. I have not disliked any item from their menu, but my absolute faves are crab croquettes, brisket hash, and their blueberry pancakes. You will not go wrong with any item you choose. We always bring visitors here, and they have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend getting there early (before 9 AM) as there is usually a line. You can give the hostess your name, and they will text you when the table is ready. They give you 10 minutes to return once called. This, of course, only works if you live close by. But definitely recommend trying this place

I enjoyed my food here. I had a really delicious, soft shell crab. It was a group of six and all of us really enjoyed our food. The only thing that we did not like was the barbecue shrimp and grits. Get the drink, the Bramble, it was top-tier!

Took my daughter here for her 18th birthday breakfast! We started with the Salmon Toast, she was kind enough to let me have a couple of bites….. she ordered the Cat Momma Biscuit, which is a crab cake and sunny egg on a biscuit (if the name didn’t give it away), she liked it just fine, but wasn’t a fan of the mornay sauce. I had the Hot Rob, which is “hot” chicken (I used quotes because I didn’t find it spicy at all), creamed spinach, and a sunny egg on a biscuit; It wasn’t bad, but I wish I would have ordered something else. The grits were excellent and didn’t require and added salt or pepper, and the potatoes were pretty good.
The one thing I really wasn’t a fan of was the auto gratuity for a table of two. I always tip at least 20% of the entire bill (after taxes) anyway, but thought this was slightly goofy.

One of the best brunches we’ve ever had! Just give yourself some time as it’s busy but omg it’s totally worth the wait! We had huevos rancheros, crab mama, and the crab day and all three dishes were loved. Also the drinks here are solid, we loved the charcoal lemonade!
