The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The people are very friendly. The food is delicious and made fresh daily. I can come here to eat alone or meet friends and have a great time talking with them.
The booths offer a cozy comforting seclusion, the tables are open and allow many to be together while feeling spacious. The bar allows a great view of the outdoors to watch snow flying or just feeling warm sun rays. It’s great!

I love Bear Creek Coffee! They have amazing drinks and have a nice homey atmosphere. Their lunch and breakfast menu is like eating at home! I get my coffee here every time I am in Ulysses and hoping they expand their business to the East Coast!

Coffee is delicious. I’ve tried 2 flavors so far. My girls had steamers (milkshaky) and liked them. So good to have first thing in the morning before our long road trip back to Northern Indiana.
Edit July 2018: We are back in Ulysses visiting our daughter and her family. My husband and I walked to Bear Creek for coffee every morning. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I am looking forward to tomorrow’s coffee.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I pass through from a big city. Products offered are very overpriced & sub-par. A large coffee from starbucks is around the same price as Bear Creek. Keep in mind Bear Creek coffee is a small but being passed off as a large coffee. If you get it frozen there are large chuncks of ice & more whip cream than coffee in a small plastic cup. McDonald’s has better coffee with a reasonable price & definitely quicker. The food is also under cooked. If you expect good, fast, friendly service skip Bear Creek. I don’t understand all the good reviews they are not being honest or never get out of town to experience real service & quality. Next time I pass through maybe my experience will be better.

I have to admit not only is this place welcoming and friendly but they sure do get you hooked on not only their amazing drinks but the variety and vast choices of food, too! It definitely is a place to stop in whether you live here in Ulssyes or are just driving through, you will not be disappointed or regret the decision!

Awesome coffee and food in Western Kansas. Nice town and excellent Barista Nathan. The Pa’s Egg Sandwich was excellent and the scones also good. Highly recommended.

Darling little coffee shop. I’m not really a coffee drinker but I’m a foody and their Blueberry muffins are fabulous. Their bacon is amazing (ask for it extra crispy or it tastes more like ham).
