Delicious and distinctive pizza that made in brick oven. Their pizza menu doesn’t has many selection like franchise restaurants but they seem like a unique one. (They also serve sandwiches/deli subs and salads but not many same as appetizers)
I order the 10″ The Peachwood pizza and 10″ crab pizza. Not disappointed, they were pretty good. The crust and dough was cooked perfectly – crisps and thin with nice flavor, lot of toppings. I can say this place has a high quality pizza at reasonable price.
In addition, their service is friendly and lively but it might need some time to waiting for your order. Comfortable and spacious dining room, also has outdoor seats – nice location for friends or family party.

7/6/25 update. So disappointed to find out that my favorite pizza place is permanently closed. We’ll miss the excellent pizza and superior carrot cake and our favorite waitreas, Olga.
I’m always looking for a new pizza place to try. Bear Brick Oven Co did not disappoint. Pizza was very tasty with lots of toppings. Crust was thin but not floppy. Service was attentive and friendly. Homemade carrot cake was so delicious. We definitely will be back.

This was my first time here, went to see my friends band play, but will come back for the pizza. I got a cheese pizza, because whenever you’re trying a new pizza place, that’s what you should order the first time, it gives you a better idea of how it will stand up to toppings. The pizza was perfect, just the right amount of cheese and sauce, with a great brick oven crust, with that slight char around the edges. Olga was my server, and she was fantastic.

My first visit to Bear Brick Oven exceeded expectations. Customer service and friendliness of wait staff was five star excellent. Pizza is neapolitan style. This means thin crust and bubbly crust. We had The Ashton, which is a veggie pizza. Veggies were great yet I feel the pizza could have used another couple minutes in the oven. We also had The Colesville, which is a meat pizza, including bacon. This pizza was cooked to perfection. It was Saturday night and they had live music.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. They weren’t busy, the place is clean so my expectations were high. Pizza was burnt on the bottom and the crust. While the ingredients were fresh, good quality and evenly distributed, it was hard to enjoy since so much of the crust was burnt. For a $26 pizza, I expected better. Back to Vocelli’s I go!

Honest review… First time customer. Ordered online and followed a recommendation on their site to use the Slice app because it’s more convenient for everyone(?). Ordered on Slice, arrived about 30 minutes later, pizzas were ready. Behind the register was a sign for a $7.99 pizza promotion on Monday’s and it was Monday. So I paid three times the amount I would have paid if I’d called and not used Slice (which Bear Brick recommended). So, the pizza… this is “brick oven pizza” so I expect a firm crust. This was the opposite (see the photos). The “crust” was extremely thin. I don’t understand why the pizza was soggy and limp as though undercooked. They’re charging $20-ish for 10” pizzas and $25-ish for 14 inch pizzas. That is insane! 10” pizzas are basically personal pizzas. Not a good experience at all. And I really wanted to find a new pizza source. Really felt like a one star experience but I’ll give a second star for the basic retail transaction. No matter how misleading.

Edit. I gave this place another try because the owner offered a free remake. Unfortunately, this made me find out that THEY DON’T MAKE THEIR OWN DOUGH. In my mind, this makes them less of a pizzeria, and more of a resale company.
A margherita pizza doesn’t have fresh tomatoes. That plus a flat edge, too much dusting flower, and unevenly baked made this a horrible pizza. But mostly because of those awful fresh tomatoes.

The pizza was cold .I’ll also , make sure to tell Brick pizza they are not good at all .. From a scale from 1-10 .. They get a 1 for effort. This pizza was like a pizza you can get from the frozen food section in your local grocery store..

The pizza and salad were good. Wood fired oven gives the crust a nice blister and char. And they make the pizzas so fast! They had live music so next time I’ll stay and listen to the music while I eat.

Pretty good pizza place, they had a weekly special going on when I visited so I got a large pizza for the price of a small which was cool.
Decent beer selection and the pizza came out piping hot and was really good. I had planned for leftovers but ended up eating pretty much the whole thing in one go.
