We had an amazing lunch at Bear Belly’s! For an appetizer, we had the chicken wings that made our taste buds explode — so flavorful! They paired perfectly with the loaded smashed potatoes. For our mains, the maple Dijon salmon was absolutely delicious, and the baked haddock was cooked to perfection. The New York strip steak was expertly prepared, and the chicken sandwich was mouthwatering.
Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The owners, Martha and David, are wonderful and truly make you feel welcome. We can’t wait to come back this summer to enjoy the live bands! Plus, the portions were just right — perfectly proportional. Highly recommend Bear Belly’s for a fantastic meal!

We found this place just outside of Rangeley, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots of the trip. They had an amazing selection of gluten free options, and our server was very knowledgeable about what was safe on the menu. They offer gluten free pizzas, buns, and even have a full case of gluten free desserts, which is such a rare find these days. They didn’t have a dedicated kids menu, but there were plenty of kid friendly options at really reasonable prices. We ended up eating there twice and would have gone again if we’d discovered it earlier in our vacation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and friendly service in the Rangeley area!

First time here. I had the maple glazed salmon and it was a big portion and the taste was Amazing. There was five in our party and the waitress took our order quickly and the food come out quickly for what we all had! We are talking about making this a weekly stop. Oh I forgot to mention the price was reasonable for all we had also!

Let’s just say anyone who didn’t leave a 5 star review doesn’t know dinning in Maine. The food was outstanding, our server was great, and the pricing very reasonable for the size of the dish. I ordered the Maple Dijon Glazed Salmon dish and hands down the best salmon dish I have ever tasted. I think one of the coolest features this restaurant offers is a changing menu. I have been there a few times, and I love how there is always a new dish to try!! Thank you and keep up the great work pumping out delicious food.

Located in Phillips, this restaurant/bar is fairly new to the area. The majority of the menu is bar food, but it is good! They currently are only open on the weekends, Sunday they start serving at 9am brunch. The servers work hard. Check it out! Pictured is the smash burger! Yum!

A wonderful little establishment on your way to or from rangeley. Waitstaff was everything other than overbearing while yet carrying a caring tone. My fiancé and I had the crispy cheesy rosemary smashed potatoes topped with eggs fried to order. A simple dish executed so well. While containing the soft innards of the potatoes it delivers the perfect crispiness of cheese and bacon and the wonderful taste of rosemary that I would recommend to everyone. The “vibe” is quiet yet very comfortable. Please give them a try!
