So glad I happened upon this place from a recommendation from Aleko’s. Love their mission, giving meaningful work to those with developmental disabilities. The coffee was delish, as was my yummy chocolate pistachio cupcake. Also enjoyed being able to pick up a few gifts from the market inside, next door -/ found lots of locally made gifts — bonus! While I’m not from the area, I occasionally find my way through by taking the country roads. Will definitely stop by again to fuel myself along the way.

What a fantastic little find in Middletown with a wonderful mission! Beautiful coffee shop serving light fare. Scrumptious Greek pastries and other baked goods. Lots of staff on hand to be attentive and they are super friendly! Outdoor seating is available. I can’t wait to return to check out the attached gift shop.

I recently moved to the area and have been on a hunt for a new coffee shop. On my first visit I dropped my bagel on the floor and they insisted on replacing it free of charge. The employees are all friendly and the food/drinks are delicious. My children and I enjoyed hot chocolate, bagels and a Frappuccino. We will be back!!

This specific location is named after its CEO, Nektario, and is fashioned after him with phrases and quotes from him over many of the walls. On top of having very well made food and great coffee, each Beans & Dreams location focused on giving work opportunities to young adults with disabilities.
Everyone there that I interacted with was so kind and open, and it was amazing to see such a beautiful location going fully in on giving such amazing opportunities to its workers.
I ordered an iced mocha, a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant, and a bag of cookies. Everything was very tasty and made with care.
Can’t wait to return!

On a recent roadtrip, my husband and I took a 4 mile detour to find a good cafe, not wanting to patronize the usual commercial coffee shops that virtually have a monopoly on our highways. We were not disappointed that GPS took us to Beans and Dreams, a charming cafe with a touch of Greek tastes and a warm ambiance. The pastries and coffee were delicious and unique. And my husband almost couldn’t pull himself away from the engaging team that served us with genuine smiles. I wholeheartedly recommend the portokalopita and kataifi. Yummy!

This Greek owned coffee shop is amazing! Incredible employees! Atmosphere is awesome! Take your coffee experience to the next level! They also employ people with disabilities. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Just go!

This little secret gem is the place to retreat quietly with a friend and sip a delicoius latte under a big bright umbrella outside as I did with my friend on a recent Saturday. I was checked out by a wonderful pair of helpful young ladies, Danielle and Rachel. I recommend the orange cake made with Philo dough and orange syrup. There are many wonderful desserts and foods to try, and I will be back to try them one by one. Thea whom I met for the first time on this visit shared her story and motivation for opening Beans & Dreams. Thea supports a wonderful cause, which is part of the charm here. And the spirit of this place just permeates the soul. Come check out the story and the vibe!

Great coffee!!! The freedo espresso is amazing! It’s the only place I’ve found it in Frederick! The white caramel/white chocolates iced is also really good.
They have a variety of pastries and some breakfast sandwiches!
