Beans & Brews Coffee House has been around since 1993, when the Laramie family opened shop next to Salt Lake City’s beloved hangout, Liberty Park. The family refined the process of high-altitude roasting, which results in uniquely smooth coffee with intense flavor. Beans & Brews—or “Beans,” as friends call us for short—is now a staple around Utah and its friends, Idaho and Nevada. Our guests are our reason for getting up in the morning. We love greeting regulars with their favorite drinks, made just the way they like ‘em. And we dig getting to know newcomers from all over the world and welcoming them to the Beans community. The grilled cheese was so slapped together the bread didn’t meet up, the hash waffle was cold, pale, and falling apart, and my mocha wasn’t mixed to the point that it was gritty. I saw the cashier charge me for a large mocha when I asked for a medium and it says the same on the receipt. An off-duty staff member came in after I ordered and yell-talked for so long with the cashier whose name on the receipt was “Champagne Papi” so I have no idea who took my order. Can’t believe I spent $12 on something so gross and inedible/undrinkable

Staff wasn’t friendly and it took a while for them to even help me at the window. They asked me what my drink was because they didn’t put it in and couldn’t remember what it was. I reminded them. And then they made it wrong. I ordered an iced chai with white chocolate, an espresso shot, and whip and there is no espresso nor any whip on it. So that’s cool I guess. Just hard to find a good location.

Coffee is decent. It’s the customer service that I feel could use some improvements. I’m 95% sure I was overcharged. 2 drinks for $14.99, 1 of them being a child’s milk and the other a basic coffee sized small? It’s on me for driving off and not realizing till later but still, not cool. Even putting the same drinks in the app it came out to half that price.

Didn’t try any of the food. But I got some deliciously made drinks. Their Mr. B, hot or cold is for sure a MUST. I know business go in ebbs and flows but this place was very VERY busy and only 3 servers. They were good, but it was a little hard to keep their attention while being so overwhelmed. They, for sure, did nothing wrong. Please don’t mistake me. I just had to repeat my order and then double-check it because they almost got me the wrong order.

Customer service is horrible. I stood inside for 5 minutes, with no other customers in the building, until any employee acknowledged me. One girl was running around like crazy getting food orders ready, while the other two chit-chatted with another employee who was visiting the location.

I asked for a half-caff, 1pump sugarfree hazelnut, plant based milk, hot latte. Got a hot latte w/ cows milk, no hazelnut. Half-caff, or not, I can’t know. Was up sold an apple fritter, got a cold, stale raspberry fritter. Wasted time and money. Waited at the window while the server tallied her cash drawer, then had to wait while she made my drink, even though there were three other people standing, talking to her while she made my drink. Which I would not have minded if I had gotten the drink I paid for.

It appears there’s been a major staffing change recently? This location used to be so good and consistent. The last few times I’ve come here it’s been awful. Today I ordered a mr b’s and I’m almost certain I drove away with just espresso and milk. There’s literally no sweetness or flavor!

Usually I love this beans, but when kris isn’t working the coffee is terrible and the baristas are mean. And all of their hair was down give kris a raise i feel sorry he has to put up with them
