Shoutout to Kylie at Beans & Brews – 3300 S & State St! I wasn’t feeling great this morning and she helped me customize the perfect 16 oz chai with two shots of espresso (made so I could drink it right away). Super attentive and kind. Drink was perfect highly recommend this location!
My drink was terrible – it was supposed to be a hot hazelnut latte with oat milk, but it tasted like burnt water. My breakfast sandwich also had a cheese wrapper in it. I had parked in front of the nearby nail salon to eat, and I mustered up the courage to ask for my drink to be remade, and the team didn’t believe me.
The new barista at the drive thru and the manager said that they hadn’t received my described order this morning, and they asked if I was at the right location. The manger was nice and remade my drink, but she continued to look at me as if I were CRAZY, even after I described the original barista whom I worked with – who confirmed my order twice.
I didn’t feel like I could bring up the wrapper in my sandwich, and I felt so uncomfortable and taken aback. I don’t recommend this location at ALL.
