It was a quick stop for a beer that turned into onion rings and a sandwich as the Patriots game played on. Once I had the first onion ring I knew it was good – they are a benchmark menu item and Beanies nailed the execution and the portion size. The kitchen is on point. If you had told me I had been transported to a classic neighborhood bar in Syracuse, Utica or Erie I would have believed you.

WARNING TO NON MEAT EATERS: this place ONLY uses sauces with meat in them, and DOES NOT advertise this. I ordered an eggplant parm 2 weeks ago and got incredibly sick after eating about half of it before realizing there was meat in it. I called the redtaurant after realizing i had been chewing on meat, and the guy that answered said “we dont even have a non-meat sauce at all”. I’ve been a vegetarian for going on 8 years because of health issues. This not only severely violated my stomach and my bathroom, but my beliefs as well. You guys could end up seriously hurting someone, especially if they have alpha gal. They also tried to deny my mother’s gift card, which is VERY illegal. My grandfather Loren used to be a regular here before he passed, and this just feels like a kick in the balls. Do better.

I got a steak and cheese sub and ended up with a heap of shaved steak stuffed in a roll. They don’t skimp on the quantity. Friendly service, but a bit noisy with the bar right there.

It’s your typical dive bar, the food was good but bars are not my scene so I can only give good ratings based on what I enjoyed. Too loud for my taste.

Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was and at a great value! The roast beef sandwich was huge, and very fresh. The burger was cooked just as I asked and came out hot and juicy. Fries were also nice and hot! Would definitely come again!

Really great food! The single waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed. If you’re not in a hurry you’ll probably be fine though. It’s a local small town kinda place. Two pool tables, but league runs on Tuesdays. We will be back.
