Newly remodeled. Local breakfast & lunch diner. The atmosphere is like the food. Inviting, wholesome, and very filling. Generous portions, generous waitstaff. Feels like getting to your friend’s house and your friend’s Mom fixes you something to eat. Going back again, for sure!

This review is totally different than the last three reviews I’ve done on this restaurant. We went this morning 11/03/25. Everything was fine until my boyfriend went out to smoke a cigarette. He was smoking by my car by the back of the restaurant. As I was coming out after paying the bill, the prep cook (very old woman) came out the back door of the restaurant yeilding a long knife and asked him why he was staring into the back door of the restaurant. The door windows are covered, so you can’t see in. She proceeded to tell him to get away from the door and quit looking into the window. This is the same employee who shoved an onion under the cooks face after he was complaining about his eyes burning from the onions being cut in the back. My boyfriend was a guard for years at Jackson prison. She is lucky we didn’t call the police. This is assault with a deadly weapon. My boyfriend has known the owner of the restaurant for years. Owen, check your employees. If this employee is a relative it’s time to get her back on her meds and out of the restaurant.This is not the way to keep your customers. We won’t be back.

Not sure why they just will not put cheese in my omelette? I ask for extra and get no cheese or a melted square American on top of my omelette. Also, potatoes are very far from crispy. I asked for extra crispy and get white boiled potatoes. And 3 bites of them.

After having visited several times with my 10# service dog, this time they serve coffee and water before the cook demanded no dogs, you must leave. We will never return. I don’t think he realizes it’s illegal to throw a service animal out.
