We have lived in Ocean Isle for 10 years and have only been a couple times but this week we went three times in one week! My hubby discovered they have a fabulous cheesesteak and that is now his go-to! And I love the mushroom and swiss burger. Service is quick and friendly, and food is fresh and yummy!

Our two favorite items were the Carolina Style hotdog , which was grilled and topped with finely diced coleslaw and chili, and the Arnold Palmer with fresh-squeezed lemonade and unsweet tea.
The 14-oz beef burgers were big but average quality. The tots were hot & crunchy, fresh out of the deep fryer.
The atmosphere was a small, bustling burger joint with jukebox style, ’60s music playing.
If you’re in a hurry and need a quick bite for lunch, go where the locals go. Beaches Burgers, open between 11:00am-2:30pm. ⏰
Closed Sundays.
UPDATE: We visited a 2nd time this week while on vacation. This time I tried the Fried Bologna sandwich and the Philly Cheesesteak. The thick-cut, fried bologna is first deep-fried, then grilled, and served with your choice of toppings on Texas Toast. The cheesesteak was solid, too, served with grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and white American cheese on a chewy, crusty roll per proper Philly protocol. The Carolina dog and regular grilled hotdogs were just as good as last time.

Classic burger joint. Excellent burgers. Good fries. Hot dogs are tasty. It’s a bit pricey but what is not pricey these days. They have specials. Use them. This place is excellent. You can’t go wrong.

If you like small family owned diner style places you’ll love this place. The service was 11/10. We walked in and the owner was immediately pushing tables together for us. So friendly. The food was delicious. I had a Bold Burger and chili cheese fries. Super tasty. Husband and kids had a variety of burgers and dogs, everyone was happy. Pretty inexpensive also for eating out. Make sure to check their hours and get there in time because you’re gonna want to try it! They have indoor and outdoor eating areas as well as walk up ordering to-go.

The staff was amazing very friendly and helpful. I liked the hot dog with chili and slaw. The okra was good it a side option. The cheese burger was ok very thin patty but no seasoning. The cheese wasn’t even melted on the patty. I had high hopes for this place but it just didn’t live up to the hype.

Update: ordered the Bold Burger. Most toppings were piled only in the middle of the burger. Small Burger for the price. (11/15/22)
Clarification: if comparing to fast-food burgers, Beaches is always ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! I have eaten here multiple times and tried a variety of burgers. While I have never been disappointed, some visits are better than others. Unfortunately, today was not my favorite. (The tater tots were on point as usual ) I am not complaining. I’m comparing them with themselves. I will be back, and back, and back.. Reliability yummy!

Very tasty burger joint with super friendly staff. The waitress was very patient with our kids order and the food was delicious. Highly recommend! You can even order and sit outside!
